Good enough SSR to travel for?

Post by Mike V »

Hi all,

I'm taking a look at my upcoming SSR for December, and there's quite a big difference between the SSR if it activates here in Hackensack, vs in Los Angeles (or anywhere thereabouts).

Specifically:

SSR for Hackensack, NJ:
r. Pluto on Dsc +0º55'
r. Mars on Dsc -3º11'

SSR for LA:
t. Moon on Dsc +1º45'
t./r. Sun on MC +3º17'
t. Jupiter on MC -5º23'
r. Uranus on MC -7º39'
t. Neptune on Asc +8º00'

It's pretty clear that the SSR for LA is preferable.

However, I'm curious what everyone thinks - is this so preferable that it's worth traveling for?
Are these orbs "good enough" to do that?
My initial interpretation is yes.

As pointed out by a close friend, the SSR for NJ also looks sort of like it would push me to make a move like that anyway. Perhaps better to have the SSR set up for LA and then have the NJ SSR just reinforce my intent to move out there very soon.

From the information you gave (I haven't redone the harts), LA is not SO better as to warrant centering things here. We'd love to see you, of course, and there will be two weekly classes going on at that time (oops, no: last Solar & Lunar Returns class is the 18th, and the Foundations class then takes a break for the holiday). The chart for NJ is more intense, the one for LA (based on what you gave) isn't very concentrated.

BTW, totally aside, I need to talk to you in the next couple of days, help me make that happen, k?
