Sep 21: Wells, Cusack, Cohen, Feuerman, King, Norman

Post by Jim Eshelman »

Wells, H.G. Sep 21, 1866, 4:30 PM GMT, Bromley, England (AA).
Cusack, Dymphna. Sep 21, 1902, 11:45 PM AEST, West Wyalong, Australia (B).
Cohen, Leonard. Sep 21, 1934, 6:45 AM EDT, Montreal, Quebec (AA).
Feuerman, Carole. Sep 21, 1945, 8:18 PM EWT, Hartford, CT (AA).
King, Stephen. Sep 21, 1947, 1:30 AM EDT, Portland, ME (A).
Norman, Marsha. Sep 21, 1947, 5:58 AM CST, Louisville, KY (AA).

There are enough significant, fascinating, well-timed births (of men, at least) on this day to cover several days of the year. It's quite hard to choose between them. I will address this by adding more women to match, even though, regrettably, they will be of much lesser fame and regard. The number of significant writers (especially novelists) on this day is impressive.

The significant playwright Marsha Norman was born five hours after Stephen King. The key to Carole Feuerman's chart seems to be the foreground Saturn.

BONUS:
Holst, Gustav. Sep 21, 1874, 4:24 PM GMT, Cheltenham, England (A).
Coen, Ethan. Sep 21, 1957, 3:31 PM CDT, Minneapolis, MN (AA).

Steve, if you're looking in on this: Had you noticed that you were born just a few hours before Stephen King and the significant playwright Marsha Norman?

One significant difference is that Mars had slipped from Gemini into Cancer in those few hours - and I think that placement is quite significant for both of these people. - I just noticed I don't have anything about drama or the dark, shadowy realms in my Mars in Cancer notes, but it's certainly part of the Cancer archetype. Besides these two, we find Mars in Cancer in such theater/film and shadow figures as Andrew Lloyd Webber (Phantom blends them both!), Bernadette Peters, Bulwer-Lytton, Elvira, Gene Roddenberry, George Lucas, Mata Hari, Ray Buckland, Krafft-Ebing, and numerous significant fiction writers.
