Versace, Gianni. Dec 2, 1946, 6:00 AM CET, Reggio di Calabria, Italy (AA).
Spears, Britney. Dec 2, 1981, 1:30 AM, McComb, MS (A).
FWIW, I don't see in Britney Spears' natal the kind or inhuman restriction she's been under as an adult. I do see the tendency to out of control behavior, and I see serious parent issues!

Re: Dec 2: Gianni Versace & Britney Spears
Today, Britney Spears turns 40, which is almost a strange thought to me since she seems perpetually caught between the teens and 20s. Being under strict conservatorship for 15 of her 40 years has surely made that difference, of course.
Her chart, though, is an excellent example of how knowing just the fewest things about a horoscope can give you most of what you need to know.
Britney was born with Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Capricorn. Her closest aspect is a 0°04' Sun-Venus octile (which shifts the way her Mars-dominated luminaries express), followed by a 0°38' foreground Mars-Neptune mundane square. (Moderately angular Mars and Neptune are her only two foreground planets other than a wide Eris.)
So, while there is a lot more in the chart - the charisma of a Moon-Sun sextile, the iconoclastic individualism of Sun-Pluto, the sexuality boost of Venus-Mars and Venus-Pluto, the chutzpah and broad strength of Mars in Leo - we can actually tell all the main points of her story with information that she is a Venus-leaning Scorpio-Capricorn with a powerful Mars-Neptune aspect.
These few details tell most of the best and worst sides of her biography. They speak of someone who would be pretty hard to control, who strikes out to run her life on her own terms including what most people would call a fair bit of misbehaving. Scorpio-Capricorn is a "bad boy" combination (flipping gender for emphasis), needing freedom of movement and thought, restless and confrontational, resisting authority and conformity, not above intentionally shocking and disturbing others. It shows someone who is combative, who surges into temptation and requires quick gratification of her desires (and usually gets it), who is dramatic in her aggressions, often with impulse and anger issues that need addressing. Broadly, it shows someone committed to enjoying life, bold and with abundant moral courage.
Enormous sexuality - personal raging libido plus her ability to radiate sexual energy - is all over this chart. It's there in spades in the luminary signs alone, and Mars-Neptune fuels it more (plus several other aspects easy to spot.) In the broadest sense, she thrives on stirred passion and high emotional drama, which she will continue to stir and agitate.
These few features are also the core of her talent and power. Besides outright power projections, Scorpio (which Fagan showed us rules the throat) is know for classic vocalists of the Frank Sinatra or Bette Midler type. Britney shares her Scorpio-Capricorn luminaries with Roberta Flack, as another example. Probably this power has much to do with their exuding sexual force, though these signs are also known for wit, humor, gregarious engagement. Mars-Neptune has a magical-seeming ability to move minds and reality, often becoming powerful lodestones around which others swarm as if to a rallying cry.
There are also demons. Capricorn Moon, in particular, is open to dark moods and often have severe childhoods. This isn't overly obvious in Britney's bio, except that she grew up in a morally conservative area and had a pretty atypical childhood between the discipline of her training from very early in life and from attending specialized schools. I don't see what I expect for her adult restrictions (conservatorship), so I think the symbolism is really that she continued to be treated as if she were still a child - fulfilling the "restrictive, father-dominated childhood" message that doesn't otherwise work its way out that I can see.
Substance abuse problems are evident enough - Scorpio Sun is one or the more common examples - but they aren't overly obvious. I think they weren't the issue, I think - they were a consequence of all the rest.
And that's it, really. We see that much that is important to her in the three most important factors of Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Capricorn, and an exact foreground Mars-Neptune square.
As mentioned, there is much more to dig out of the chart - which I leave to all of you to do on your own (and share here with the rest of us) - but these few things shine. (Her Venus deserves attention by itself for the complexities introduced.) Here btw is the TMSA output:
