A former entertainer (stand up comedian and star of a popular TV show), he has Moon, Jupiter, and Neptune foreground and Sun exactly conjunct Venus. His luminaries are Capricorn-Cancer.

Seeming to confirm his birth time, transits during this Russian invasion crisis show terrible conditions. Transiting Neptune is square his 27°07' Taurus Ascendant. With his MC (for the given time) 25°55' Capricorn, Saturn is nearly within orb of partile conjunction, and will cross it exactly March 20, 2022. - Transiting Saturn exactly opposed his Moon the same day bombs started dropping on his country.

I have often thought that fixed star is very telling about projections into the future. In The composite chart, thier Mars is Square Vega.

Historically it is regarded as pertaining to the arts and similar themes. I do know two sisters with their Moons exactly together on Vega, both artists. But it's been hard for me to find cases of the ecliptical aspect meaning anything at all. Or, more to the point, I've nearly settled into the idea that fixed stars don't mean anything at all in ecliptical aspect and, if they operate at all, it's through the more ancient system of parans. As the Babylonians called it "Star of the Queen of Life," I can understand your identification with it.

Looking at star parans, Zelenskyy's strongest connection is that his Moon sets with Pollux, and I can see him being described as a scrapper (Pollux invented boxing).

What catches my attention, looking at this chart:

Mercury, Mars and Jupiter are, all three, in the signs of their traditional debilitation; also Saturn, if we consider it, as traditionally-attributed, a representative of Aquarius.
This within the context of Mars, Saturn and Jupiter having a specially prominent/important place in the chart, given that it's a Capricorn Sun nativity, and Jupiter is one of the three angular planets.

For a person in a hub-role, it's interesting to note that there are no Hub Luminaries, nor is Mars in a Hub constellation.

The Moon is very strong, being in its own sign and being also angular; and her own strongest by orb aspect is trine with Neptune (11').

The Sun is in Capricorn, conjunct Venus (and both ecliptically square Sedna, Sun more tightly, orbed 46').

These Luminary positions and aspects, together with the angular planets (and the prominence, especially, of the tight Moon-Neptune trine, in the whole picture of Nativity) give me the idea of "it's all about the appearances" --- the themes of "mirage", "veils", "a play of shadow and light", and the like, come to mind.

Yes. He's not a classical "royalty or dignitary" pattern (Moon in Cancer being the only exception). And, in fact, he's not the royalist type.

I'm not sure why you consider this a Hub role. While it's easy to find Scorpio and Leo luminaries of pivotal leaders in time of crisis (the likes of a Churchill), it isn't typical of heads of state in general. U.S. presidents have most often been Aries or Virgo or Scorpio - one of each quadruplicity, all equally (with Scorpio just caught up with the current prez). What I see they have in common is being anti-Venus. Virgos have usually been "servant of the people" types, Aries "strong executive" types, etc. We've had a lot of Leo Moons, but as part of the 'fire' predominance of Leo, Sagittarius, and Aries. Other heads of state have followed a similar pattern, with maybe a tip toward Rims as executives (I haven't run luminaries of heads of states world wide for a few decades).

In any case, as a double Rim, he's shown as the activist he's been forced to become. I'm reminded of the high percentage of Capricorn Suns among American Revolution and U.S. Civil War generals.

His chart IS foremost that of an entertainer - Moon, Jupiter, and Neptune wrapped around comedian and storyteller Capricorn and his "play to the crowds" Cancer; so I agree that "the show must go on." But, cast into politics, his inner streetfighter has had to show a bit more. Regrettably, his transits suggest that the show is about to get cancelled.

Got it. - And that shows up in planetary angularity, though not as much in terms of Sun-themed signs (except indirectly, e.g., the strength of Aries and the virtual absence of Aquarius luminaries).

I think Sun-signs seem to show more the distinctive flavor and style of an administration (not perfectly, of course, since there's more to a president than a Sun-sign; still...).

One thing I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out astrologically: it would be damning Volodymyr "I need ammunition, not a ride" Zelenskyy with faint praise to say he has as set of brass b****, maybe titanium is nearer the mark. Where does that come from in his chart?

Also most impressive is the female member of the Ukrainian parliament photographed holding an AK-47 ready to give the Russians a warm welcome with hot lead. A can't imagine a member of the US Congress of either gender or either party doing that.

From that description, you'd expect Mars, right? The only real Mars is his Capricorn Sun. There is double Rim - there is the specific double Rim that gives him a Mars-governed Sun - but Mars itself is background, in detriment, and faintly aspected (moderately opposite Sun, but perhaps one would expect a closer aspect). The rest of the chart is decisive action, ingenuity, compassion, and a lot of showmanship.

Though we normally don't need the Novien, we do have natal Pluto square Novien Mars 0°06' That's "iron balls," but I'd like simpler and better.

I have yet to be enthusiastically impressed with fixed stars, but I noted the other day he has the Mars star Pollux (inventor of boxing) in setting-paran with his Moon. Despite the thin star evidence, if I see him behead someone I'll definitely credit Mars in paran-opposition with Algol.

But... overall, I think you ask a great question.

As I've sat with this over the weekend, I now lean to a simpler opinion: That we're simply underestimating his Sun-sign. Capricorn is one of two (some would say three) martial constellations. Furthermore, it's the one that Mars shares with Saturn. While, in his earlier career, Zelenskyy flourished with humor and storytelling (some of Capricorn peacetime strengths), there is far more to Capricorn.

Nearly all the Capricorn Sun traits arise from motivations to SURVIVE and SECURE AUTONOMY - exactly what he's fighting for now. In the simplest look at Capricorn, we expect these needs to be foremost. We expect people who are required to struggle against tough odds (and become good at it). They are naturally discontent, combative, and put the RESIST in resistance.

I always try to remember that the most American generals in the American Revolution and the most Confederate generals in the Civil War had Capricorn Suns (including Robert E. Lee). I think this tells the metallurgy of their spines (and other body parts).
