WISH LIST - Faster Search for charts already calculated
Sometime - no rush at all - I wonder if Find (for calculated charts) can have a search feature to pull them up, e.g., I could type "Marion" and have all Marions in my charts folder displayed, their folder to be opened by a click.

I believe that's possible, I will need to research exactly how to best do it in Python.Jim Eshelman wrote: Sun Mar 27, 2022 7:35 pm Sometime - no rush at all - I wonder if Find (for calculated charts) can have a search feature to pull them up, e.g., I could type "Marion" and have all Marions in my charts folder displayed, their folder to be opened by a click.

In fact this feature may be a good replacement for the file dialog that opens from Find Chart. File dialogs are slow at least as implemented in Python.
Oops I meant to reply to this post, and inadvertently edited it. The original stated I could adapt code from the search function in my Video Collection Manager.
