Japanese ex-PM Shinzo Abe shot dead

The former PM of Japan, Shinzo Abe was assassinated while he was campaigning in the city of Nara for a parliamentary election.

Wikipedia states "around 11.30AM" Japanese Standard Time (GMT+9) as the moment he was shot.

Reuters reports that he was treated in the Nara Medical University Hospital, and that he died at 5.03PM. He likely died there too.

For a moment I thought he was still PM that would've been especially horrific.

Yes, I actually thought he was still PM. No spot for him in the Deaths of Leaders chapter, but definitely an event we want to look into.

Shinzo Abe was a Virgo born shortly before I was on September 21, 1954, hour unknown, Shinjuku, Japan. Without a birth time, we know that transiting Pluto opposed his Uranus. Several other oppositions were close enough that they'd be important if they fell angular in a lunar return (like Neptune to his Sun or Saturn to his Pluto), but not close enough to count on their own. Progressed Mars was opposite natal Pluto (which probably played a role). His last SLR occurred about a week ago, on June 30, on a day Mars-Pluto aspected natal Jupiter-Uranus-Neptune, which I bet was angular.

Former PM Shinzo Abe was assassinated with a homemade gun while campaigning for a party candidate. He was pronounced dead at 5:03 PM JST. The murder occurred exactly as Jupiter crossed Descendant (square a culminating Mercury) with Moon partile square Pluto and platic square Mars.

Japan is one of the areas where the Capsolar's Moon-Mars opposition is angular - and very strong! Overall, the ingresses are quite good but the daily timing is weak, as if for the wrong location,

I'm going to redo this for Tokyo to see if the timing sharpens. - Indeed, while the Capsolar and Caplunar are excellent for Nara, the whole range of charts is a easy "best fit" for Tokyo, down to the daily timing. This registers as a national event, not a local event.

A colleague has found a birth time from a Japanese astrology source of 2:35 AM. I've asked her to say more about the original source, because "some astrologer told me" is usually unreliable. Nonetheless, if it happens that it IS the correct time, my expectation is exactly met: In addition to transiting Uranus closely rising, the Mars-Pluto square is angular atop his natal Jupiter-Uranus-Neptune. (Actually, it misses the Neptune in the sense that r Neptune isn't foreground.) Pluto also squares mundanely his natal Venus-Saturn.
