Some Sidereal Astrology techniques for timing when she became a ‘widow.’The widow of ex-Beatle John Lennon. When Lennon was assassinated on the sidewalk outside their Manhattan apartment building on 12/8/1980 at 10:50 PM EST, it sent shock waves across the planet.

Re: Yoko Ono
Yoko has the distinction of having been born with no foreground planets. This happens, but rarely. This lets other factors in her chart show greater dominance.
Two salient traits of Yoko are that she has always been creative in a very avant garde, often unrecognizable form that has taken the rest of the art world years or decades to catch up to, and that she has a remarkable capacity to get Beatles fans to detest her. She's managed a broadly unlikable image most of her life, despite her profound devotion to John and her family.
I think most of the above comes from the combination of her Aquarius Sun and Scorpio Moon. (Look them up.)
Among her aspects, ignoring the generational Uranus-Pluto square, what stands out most is Mercury opposite Neptune, both being squared by Moon. The same Moon bridges an otherwise moderately wide Venus-Saturn conjunction in Capricorn. Again, look all this up: I think you can find a match to most of what has marked her visible, known life.
Relocated her natal chart to London, and you'll find Jupiter widely square Ascendant. Relocated it to New York, though, and you'll find her Moon-Mercury-Neptune tying strongly into her Midheaven, and her Venus just a tad more than 3° from Ascendant.

Re: Yoko Ono
Another important detail of her life, of course, is her marriage and deep connection to John.
A quick view of their charts (concentrating on two luminaries, two malefics, and two benefics) shows her experience of him marked by his Venus opposite her Sun (best of friends aspect), his Jupiter 0°12' from square her Venus (happiness together), his Saturn 0°41' from square her Venus (well, there was the other side of it; and she lost him tragically, and has shown devotion and caretaking over the decades). From his side, the quickie assessment shows her Sun opposite his Venus (best friends aspect), and her Venus exactly square his Jupiter-Saturn (mixed; more below).
What I find particularly interesting is that they each have partile benefics to the other's Saturn. I think they both alleviated the other's deep sadness and sense of isolation.
Taking a broader look, the most dramatic mark of Yoko's chart on John's is that her Uranus - almost partile square Pluto - is on his Ascendant (partile). She startled him, woke him up, altered him, showed him new things, challenged him, etc. His Uranus squared her Sun (moderate orb), and her Uranus opposed his Sun (wide orb). They had a very Uranian relationship, and I think this planet marks one of the strongest effects they had on each other.
