The public was probably completely oblivious to these serous Saturn negotiations, but the Arilunar and Canlunar before and on the week of the attack are excellent examples, at times, for the important symbolic clarity for lunar ingresses which you have stressed in your teachings.

Re: Pearl Harbor
This is really fascinating! The "failed negotiations" part is strong Mercury-Saturn symbolism, but here's the complete picture of the Arilunar:
Mercury setting 0°09'
Saturn rising 0°52'
Uranus rising 1°24'
-------------------------
Pluto on IC 3°43'
Sun setting 7°40'
This gave the following foreground aspects:
Saturn-Uranus conj. 0°32' in mundo
Mercury-Saturn op. 0°43' in mundo
Mercury-Uranus op. 1°15' in mundo
Uranus-Pluto sq. 1°21' in mundo
Saturn-Pluto sq. 2°51' in mundo
I've heard about these negotiations all my life - it was common discussion when I was a give, 20 years after the war - but I've never been able to confirm whether they actually took place (only been able to find confirmation that Japanese diplomats were in Washington for the week). Has this now become established fact?
If you read my analysis of Pearl Harbor in the "War & Peace" chapter of SMA, you will see that I have some serious questions about what is going on. (Ironically, that's the chapter I was starting to rewrite last night.) Pearl Harbor doesn't seem a perfect astrological event, though it is a good one. (Possibly you have now explained a lot of it by showing the behind-the-scenes event was a week earlier.) But beyond it "not being perfect," there is the serious problem of the Sun-Jupiter opposition.
The day of the attack, there was an exact Sun-Jupiter opposition in space. The full picture (only looking at aspects in space, not yet talking about ingresses and quotidians) is that Mars trined and sextiled the Sun-Jupiter. This fits the general tone of nation on December 7. But it's more complicated than that. Here are some quotes from what I originally wrote about the CapQ and CanQ for Washington:
Mercury setting 0°09'
Saturn rising 0°52'
Uranus rising 1°24'

Pluto on IC 3°43'

As with 9/11, this Sun-Jupiter makes me ask the question, "Who, in Washington, thought this was a good thing? That the attack meant they got what they want?" There was a similar note in 9/11. Most consistently, I see Sun-Jupiter in mundane astrology meaning that people with money and power actively manipulate events with a goal of getting more money and power. At the time of the attack, Sun opposed Jupiter (1°15') in the heavens. Furthermore, Mars was trine Sun (0°17') and sextile Jupiter (0°58'). This Sun-Jupiter aspect dominated the quotidian charts of both the Capsolar and Cansolar for Washington, DC, plus the “natal” Cansolar horizon. It seems decisively the signature aspect of the day for Washington.
20°28' Scorpio Cansolar Asc
21°20' Scorpio t. Sun
21°48' Taurus CanQ Asc
22°12' Leo CapQ MC
22°35' Taurus t. Jupiter
Especially with the added input of Mars, many things about this configuration appear to mark December 7 for the nation as a whole. We hear of the country rallying at once, with fervor and passionate commitment. Sun-Jupiter, fuelled and focused by Mars, certainly matches the national story that we tell others and ourselves about that dark hour and the rising of the American heroic ideal at its best.
[...]
It seems clear from history that powerful factions in Washington considered December 7 their lucky day, providing all the motivation they needed to move the nation into active participation in World War II. Whether this justifies a configuration of heroic triumph, victory, celebration, and profit on a day or military defeat is a question I am unable to answer.

Re: Pearl Harbor
The bridging techniques for the bombing of Pearl Harbor, to time the general time of the year for a major event, center primarily on transiting Pluto square CanQ Moon. This does a pretty good job: It suggests a Moon-Pluto event (occurring in or affecting the whole world) occurring in the window December 3, 1941 to January 12, 1942.
What do we expect from a Moon-Pluto event? Here is my standard paragraph:
The Caplunar for most of this time occurred November 22 and again emphasized Pluto (Pluto square Ascendant is the only main factor). Now, the Arilunar you have found actually is the worst chart of the set, and probably would have led me to think that a high-impact, stunning event (especially an air attack and a military loss) would occur under the Arilunar, but it didn't. Instead, it occurred under the Canlunar in the wee hours of December 7 (the fleet was already in the air when this set up) which reiterated Saturn and Uranus.
What do we expect from a Moon-Pluto event? Here is my standard paragraph:
So, for Washington, the timing went something like this: The key event window of the year was identified by Moon-Pluto as occurring December 3 to January 12. (The Libsolar was quite noncommittal, but then it didn't have a choice - the event was occurring in its quarter regardless.)Events stun sensibilities and halt the mind with their intensity. The nature of these events makes them difficult to predict. Major examples from the past include deaths and departures of presidents and kings; uprisings, riots; breakthroughs in civil liberties; populist challenges to prevailing authority; and other staggeringly intense events, pleasant and unpleasant, that hold unflinching attention, from the vast destruction of natural disasters to similar devastation and death caused by war and slaughter.

I read your Pearl Harbor analysis in SMA with much interest because many years ago I studied the political history of this event. I just happened to look at the Arilunar and the light bulb went off in my mind because from my past studies I knew there was a-lot of negotiations taking place in DC during the week of the Arilunar. DC’s Arilunar with the Mercury-Saturn Paran blew me away because I knew there were failed negotiations taking place in DC for the week of the Arilunar. Japan had already made-up their minds they were going to attack if they did not get what they wanted at the negotiation table. When we consider the ‘great clarity and acuity’, at times of SMA charts, we can see here the Pearl Harbor event was already written in the heavens—way beyond the understanding of political heads.Instead, it occurred under the Canlunar in the wee hours of December 7 (the fleet was already in the air when this set up) which reiterated Saturn and Uranus.
Excellent observation Jim—definitely a Moon-Pluto event. When I look at these two times in history when USA was attacked, Pearl Harbor and 9/11 (2001 Cansolar), I see a-lot of fixed signs symbolism—makes me think there may be something special about the fixed signs. The bridging techniques for the bombing of Pearl Harbor, to time the general time of the year for a major event, center primarily on transiting Pluto square CanQ Moon.
