A good method for studying Sidereal Astrology

When I first encountered the astrological branch of Sidereal Astrology, I took AA rated birth charts and went to the local library to seek important life events which occurred in the life of an AA rated birth chart. This is how I began to learn and understand the value of Sidereal Astrology with the intrinsic meaning of planets with our chart angles, and other important principles of Sidereal Astrology. Today we have the internet, a library of biographic information at our convenience in our homes. The following link allows one to seek biographic information:

When you go to the above link there is a search box to enter names.

A good method for seeking AA rated birth charts is through the following link:

http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Main_Page

This link is the Astro-Databank Wiki Project allowed by the great work of Lois Rodden compiling birth data. In the convenience of your time you can go to this link on any day, and on the right side of the opening page will be a list of people born on that particular day in history as well as the preceding day. For example: I go to this link and note Otto Graham, a very successful NFL Quarterback, was born on Dec 6th and it’s an AA rated birth. Take Otto Graham’s name and plug it in with the above Wikipedia Biography link for important events in his life. I will quickly look at some of Otto’s life events with techniques of Sidereal Astrology, but by no means will this be a complete analysis of Sidereal Astrology’s techniques with some of Otto’s life events, nor any other people I may use for this thread, only quick spot checks for some of Sidereal Astrology’s techniques.

I agree that this is a wonderful way to study Sidereal astrology, and Steve has posted some exceptional examples.

For ease of access, these have now been broken off into individual threads with the individual's name as the subject line. Check them out. Remember, though, that the real value is not only in reading the post and the few remarks Steve and others have made, but in looking at there charts yourself - seeing what is really there!

I think it is well for us to always remember when looking at the bio’s of certain famous people that each Archetype has in its virtue, the seed of its vice. So much depends on one’s true Character which at times may be difficult to know with a bio and impossible to know for sure with a Natal Chart.
