And what about the SSR in the years of each others birth?
Well, neither bt for myself has anything angular in the 1978 SSR, but there are two prominent features. There is a wide Sun-Moon conjunction close to the zenith and with a progression to January '79 they become partile. There is also a sandwich of Ven-Mars/Nnode which Ebertin says is sex-unions. That t. node is partile square my n. Ven-Jup and that t. Mars is partile my n. Pluto. The t. Pluto is partile my n. Uranus and with the alternative bt. the SSR ASC is also partile n. Uranus as well as the SSR MC partile my n. Nodes
Casting his SSR to my birth year and town has nothing partile to the SSR angles. However it does have the Sun within 5° from the SSR DSC and the Sun is about 3° from the Nnode as well as a wide square 3,06° to the SSR Moon. But this one also has a partile Ur-Pluto conjunction showing up t. Ur partile his n. Pluto.
What I find one of the most compelling and telling is that our rel. composite MC is conjunct my Jup-Ven aspect (partile with the 23.27 bt) and he played a huge role in "activating" my creative spirit, my inner artist. I see it as this relationship activating this aspect in my psyche/chart as it comes to the relationship angle. I'm also very very very loving to him in our relationship.
Progressing each chart to the other
Re: Progressing each chart to the other
Arena, it appears with your analysis here, the 23,27 bt offers higher % for a very close bt. Do you agree?

Re: Progressing each chart to the other
This is strange. It's straightforward. I wonder if you are using a different technique for the progressions?Arena wrote: Tue Sep 19, 2023 3:31 am I changed the settings as you described above, to mean quotidion and Q2, but solar fire is not allowing me to progress my birth chart to his birth place, only the date and time of his birth.
Select your chart in the Calculated Charts list. Press F4 (or click the Progressions button, the blue wheel with the little Pr next to it, or click Chart > Tran/Prog/Dir) - this brings up the Transits, Progressions, & Directions box.
In Chart Type select Secondary Progressions. Just above it, make sure Relocated is picked. Fill in the date, time, and place. Click OK. Voila! You have a copy of your chart progressed to his date and time.
Special trick to make it easier: Before doing this, select his chart and pressShift+F12 as if you were going to relocate his chart (but you aren't really relocating it), then press Esc to bounce out. This pre-loads his data and time (but not place) into memory, so when you pick your chart and press F4 the right info comes up automatically and you just have to add the place.
I don't think the progressed-to progressed works. They're (so to speak) in different universes. The idea is to see how you relate to the moment and place he was born by your transits and progressions - where "your transits" are simply his birth chart. (Then do the same for him, where "his transits" are your birth chart.) So you want to have tri-wheel with your natal, progressions, and transits, i.e., your natal, his natal, and your progressions to his birth. So how you do this is to compare this progressed chart to your own natal and also to his natal and then also compare my progressed to his progressed to my birth time? Or perhaps to use for that?
I modified the SF tri-wheel so that the middle wheel's angles are used - you can get this from the SF sub-forum if you like - so my "stack" is natal inside, progressions middle, and transits (the other person's chart) outside.
That's another way to do it, since you were having trouble getting SF to switch locations. This guarantees that his birthplace is used (which is the correct way to progress your chart to the moment and place he was born). However, IF I cast my birth chart as if I was born in the place he was born
I wouldn't expect this to produce much (other than aspects) since the event of your birth didn't occur at his birthplace. When casting his chart to my birth time at his birth location I don't get much except for a partile pr. Sun to n. Moon sextile. His pr. Venus is almost partile trine my n. Sun.
As an example, here is my chart (inmost ring) progressed to my wife's moment and place of birth (center ring and angles are progressions) with her chart on the outside as the transits of the moment. (I may come back and remove the chart later.) Aside from those things that are already obvious from the comparison of the two natals, the highlights seem to be: Progressed Moon's conjunctions with Mars-Jupiter-Uranus; transiting Uranus on quotidian IC; it was the year of my progressed Sun-Neptune conjunction; and my Venus, already close enough to her Descendant natal-to-natal, becomes partile by progression.
