Son's next SSR

Hi Jim,
my Son asked me to have a look at his next SSR and he likes to travel for a benefic location.
He has a nice (partile) s.Moon conjunct Jupiter aspect coming up.
I am a bit lost finding a good location as malefics are also coming to the fore.
He prefers to travel by car.
It seems bringing Jupiter and Moon close means going far away.
Would you mind having a look? I may have overlooked some good locations.

I can't check astro-mapping from work, so I'll try to remember to look at home tonight. Don't be shy about reminding me if it slips past me.

The Moon-Jupiter conjunction is a nice start. In this case, it might be good to get to where there is nothing angular (rather than rough stuff) and let the Moon-Jupiter carry the whole year without needing angularity. But maybe we can get something better than that.

PS - Do you know from the past how he normally responds to his natal Uranus-Neptune being angular? Paris has some possibilities better than other locations (just on a first glance). Also, how vulnerable (astrology aside) are his current intimate relationships? I'm wondering if we really need to protect them carefully (keeping the Venus-Mars-Pluto out of the picture as much as possible) or go with a closely angular Venus and let the wider Mars-Pluto simply have some play (Venus or Venus and Uranus dominating), e.g., Barcelona has some interesting features. Or Turin (though that might be pushing too hard if we need to be more careful).

Very true Jim.
I am surprised he asked me, I didn't expect this at all.
He is in a stable relationship and it would be good if there are not too many tensions coming his way as he has OCD tendencies.
His job is highly demanding and his nervous system always seems activated. It would therefor be good if he had a peaceful mind and a succesful work year. (who wouldn't want this )
As for the Uranus-Neptune, I am not too sure, need to reflect on this.

Home now. Let's compare the three areas I mentioned before (with exact numbers) to try to get a specific feel. As a review, the Moon-Jupiter itself will carry a lot of weight as long as we don't interfere with it. Within driving distance (even if a very long drive) - I'm going to interpret that for now as western and central Europe. (Some long drives, I know!) There aren't any obvious "empty" spots where the Moon-Jupiter could speak on its own, so I want to maximize the benefics - transiting Venus and Uranus are available, transiting Venus is on natal Venus, and then we just need to keep the transiting Mars-Pluto backed off a bit.

I have my eye for now on the Uranus IC line which runs through Paris and Barcelona, and the Venus rising curve that runs roughly Algiers, Piedmont, western Switzerland, north of Munich, etc. I'll use slightly narrower foreground angularities (Class 1 and 2 only) to tighten the picture a bit. By the way: If driving isn't a requirement, the Moon-Jupiter itself is angular through Ireland with places like Derry meeting the simpler requirements (or perhaps a little west to flush natal Saturn farther from the minor angle). (I'll add Tullamore as an example.)

[I like this one, too, but not as much. The two Marses end up close to each other foreground so it may be a little more stressful; and it doesn't have the majestic out of this world precisions of Paris, though that t Uranus and r Venus would be enormous fun, I think. Unless he travels with his partner, there is significant chance he will enjoy his way into doing something that might put the relationship at risk.]

I changed my mind about Turin after seeing it fully worked up - and your comment about backing off unnecessary stress. Transiting Venus exactly conjunct natal Mars goes through both Turin and Cannes, in case you want to consider those, but it plays up the various forms of Mars-Pluto so I think you want to skip those.

I'm inclined to Paris and Barcelona for different reasons, unless you think we should track down an exact spot in Ireland.

I have looked everything up and Paris and Tullamore (nearby) look really good.
Flying to Ireland from here is common, many inexpensive flights a day.
I would pick this myself as for the t.Moon-Jupiter.
Will let you know what he decides.
It's one of my favorites, to look for good places to go to for returns. There's nothing to lose, only to gain, love it.
