Conception/Pregnancy in SR/LR
Conception/Pregnancy in SR/LR
So, me and my fiancé have been trying to conceive for over a year now and I was wondering if anybody sees any indications of pregnancy in any of my charts for this year or next. I have had chemical pregnancy recently and I’m feeling pretty down

Lexi, welcome to Solunars.
I see from your link that you were born December 28, 2000, 7:18 (presumably AM), somewhere in the United States. We need to know the city where you were born (and also, for predictive work, the city where you currently live).
Here is a post on how to provide birth data:

Hi Jim! December 28, 2000, 7:18 AM, Charleston, South Carolina and currently still residing in Charleston, SC.
Re: Conception/Pregnancy in SR/LR
Lexi, what I can see based on the wider tides of Solar Arc and the outer's transits to natal (am looking only at the major ones):
You're currently in the phase of directed (Sol. Arc) Mars going exact with natal Saturn, and directed N.Node with natal Moon, while dir. Pluto is on the nat. Asc, and soon to enter orb (for its ~ 2 years stay with it) to nat. Sun;
while the transits show: tr Neptune to nat. Moon still in progress (exits orb on Feb 1st 2023), as well as tr Uranus to nat. Uranus (to be over from May 25th 2023), and tr Saturn on its way to make the final, third exact pass over nat. Venus (during period Jan 1st to 19th 2023; the whole transit started on Apr 5th 2022).
And what is ahead is the passage of dir. Pluto with nat Sun, for about two years, during which there's transiting Uranus coming to your nat Venus (Jul 20, 2023 - Jun 5, 2024); and this is followed by combination of dir. Moon with nat Jupiter and tr Pluto with natal Mars (each lasting for cca two years) beginning from after ~ mid 2024 ( d Mo enters orb with nat Ju during this time, and then tr Pl with nat Ma comes in from Feb 2025).
--- this gives me the picture of: what you're undergoing now is a process of seeking to break & re-formulate some thus-far-established more fixed life-patterns (d Ma with r Sa, and the current Uranus' transits to the natal chart), while also the desire for a deeper meaningful Connection, for nesting and belonging is a central theme, along with this (d Node with r Moon, tr Ne with r Moon, and the tr Sa with rx Ve).
All of this is coming to its "rounding up" soon, and the new bigger life-phase ahead has a different tone to it: from Jun 2023 onward, you'll be feeling and looking at your life much differently than you do right now, including the whole perception of the desire for becoming a parent.
From what these tides indicate, I'd advise to not push or rush with the maternity as direction of movement now, and await for the second half of 2024, when tr Uranus will be "done" with nat Venus, and the dir Moon will get into orb with nat Jupiter; not only is that a *much* more astrologically favorable period for conception/beginning-of-parenting for you, but also in the meantime the processes transpiring between now and then will make you better prepared (experientially) for such a life-step.

Re: Conception/Pregnancy in SR/LR
Thanks, Danica. When I saw the question, my instincts were exactly what you concluded but I hadn't had the chance to go through the charts yet. Let me take a fresh look and see where that takes me...
Lexi, thanks for the data. BTW, if we don't find an easy answer from your chart alone, we may need to look at your fiancé's chart, but usually we could get this answer just from your chart.
I'm sorry you're feeling despondent about this. My first impression is that Danica is exactly right - it's a matter of timing - and, after all, that's exactly what you asked: When is the most promising time?
I need to say upfront that your chart does suggest difficulties - delays - in such things as childbearing. (By that I mean things that have similar psychological 'space' and impact on you as childbearing.) To mention the details briefly: Moon in Capricorn closely aspecting Neptune and Mars, plus Venus closely square Saturn are consistent with delays or difficulties. You've asked the right question, though: The way through this is to find the best timing. Also, your rising Sun in Sagittarius shows very strong drives to bring life into the world and pass along heritage, culture, and wisdom, so let's see if we can help those needs be met.
As Danica, did, I want to look at the larger picture first. Transiting Neptune has been octile your Moon for a year or more, which usually times with frustrations, disappointments, extreme sensitivity and vulnerability, and perhaps a sense of frailty and self-doubt. These don't affect pregnancy directly but probably time the recent frustrating experiences and the emotions of the last year. This aspect will be done with you more or less by the end of the year.
Your Uranus at 23°44' Capricorn is exactly where the current transiting Saturn-Uranus square is located. This also shows complicated feelings. Everyone has Uranus square Uranus about age 21 as general need to break out into the world, feel like an adult, find one's independence, create one's own way, and generally assess and make decisions about issues of freedom and renewal. Uranus-to-Uranus at 21 occurs alongside Neptune-to-Neptune (a 45° aspect) so, in juggling these, most people spend roughly age 18-to-22 making decisions that last until close to age 30: These decisions involve safety vs. risk and boredom vs. adventure. How much settling down and playing it safe do we need vs. how much breaking lose and getting wide experience. Whatever decisions someone makes about these things at 18-to-22 tend to get reviewed as we approach 30 (and then new decisions are made). A third overlapping pattern about the same time is Saturn square natal Saturn: You had a bit of it this summer and will complete the pattern near the start of next year. This square is a significant step in our entering adulthood in the sense of self-sufficiency and autonomy.
Here's the dirty secret none of us wants to hear at your age (including me: I didn't want to believe it either, and couldn't assess it realistically until later): It is the Saturn cycle (29.5 years) that confers full adulthood, completing the range of experience and exposures that are prerequisite to full control of our lives. At Saturn square Saturn (21-ish), you are 3/4 of the way through that and, therefore, 3/4 of the way to adulthood. This is a point where society vests you with all sorts of responsibilities in privileges, e.g., you can legally vote and drink already. It's a point where culture (something terribly important to your Sun-sign) seems to expect us to already be ready, prepared social units entering the adult-pool. But your brain doesn't even finish developing basic organic functions (like full critical thinking pathways) until about age 25, and nature's threshold of maturity is about 30.
So where does this leave us? Well, it's my long way of talking about the current Saturn-Uranus transit to your natal Uranus. Uranus-to-Uranus (in its "debate" with Neptune-to-Neptune) wants to be free, run your own show, find your own adventures, strike out, do something new. The shorter Saturn-to-Uranus says, "Slow down, don't do something new, stay with the old stuff, hold your horses." This generally feels terrible. There's a lot of "Hurry up and wait." (Is this true for you right now?) You want to charge ahead and seem to be getting stopped at exactly the things you want to do on your own, by your own choice.
If anything like this is going on, the news is good: It doesn't last. It's a speed bump to get through. (A speed bump is something intentionally put in place to slow you down, not to stop you.) The answer isn't "No," it's "Not yet, wait a bit." It's the basic message most 18-to-22-year-olds get, and it's amplified in your case by specific transits. - So, I think that's likely the message in your life overall right now: Drive, but drive slowly.
Transiting Jupiter squares your Sun and Jupiter in January-February. My current impression is that this is when you'll get your first sense that the river is starting to flow your way again. Saturn squares your Saturn in January also, meaning that the tension between now vs. later is peaking: You'll have learned whatever the main lesson is that you need to get from it right now, and you'll have made new decisions that will define your life for most of the next decade.
So now let's look at the shorter-term period ahead of you.

Re: Conception/Pregnancy in SR/LR
If you were going to get pregnant in the immediate future, I'd expect that it would have happened over the last two months. You've had a progressed Moon-Jupiter opposition, one of the aspects that often occurs with pregnancy or childbirth. The aspect still continues over the next month, so it may be too soon to put this aspect behind you - especially, you have a peak in Moon-Jupiter (which sometimes means "maternal joy") around October 30. I've last track of how many times I see pregnancy happen just as soon as one takes one's mind off of it. Nonetheless, if you don't get two lines on the test stick in the next six weeks, we need to look forward to later aspects.
Danica has covered your Solar Arc directions. I don't need to repeat her counsel at length. Mars opposite your Saturn over the last years looks rough. Pluto crossing your Ascendant was probably life-changing over the last year (presuming your birth time is exactly right) and its conjunction with your Sun (peaking in a year and a half) will be life-redefining.
We can look across your solar returns for the next few years to see big events and life changes. Please note that what I say about these depends on knowing where you were on your birthday (for this "birthday chart" to set up). If you move, or if you travel a significant distance for a birthday, the chart needs to be reinterpreted.
For your upcoming birthday - the December 28, 2022 chart that will describe the next 12 months - I see no particular indications of pregnancy. I do see a chance you will uproot and relocate (or otherwise significantly redefine much of your life): Please let us know if that happens. There is one point, though, that has the "maternal joy" aspect: Your Solar Return Moon progresses to Jupiter about four to five months after your birthday, or around April-May. That seems your best timing in the next year (but it may mean any number of other positive, life-improving things).
Your 2023 birthday chart - covering 2024 - is much more promising. It's not perfect, but it does start to bring the right planets together for motherhood or similar happy events. We could fine tune it if you travelled for your birthday, e.g., if you went to Montgomery, AL for your birthday. (There are smaller places in eastern Tennessee as well, and Chattanooga has advantages.) Of all the times of that mostly advantageous year, at time about two months after your birthday (give or take a month) is the most promising (another Moon-Jupiter progression). [For others looking at this post, the technical details I'm looking at are a Venus-Jupiter opposition near the horizon but with that natal Jupiter exactly squared by transiting Saturn. There is also Moon square Jupiter about 2°. My strategy is to put transiting Venus exactly on an angle, let natal Jupiter back off a bit which keeps transiting Saturn weaker, and then count on the very strong Venus, the Venus-Jupiter opposition, and the Moon-Jupiter square to carry the day, with the weaker Saturn hopefully being only increased responsibilities and a lot more details to manage.]
If you aren't pregnant by December 2024, take a year off trying. The following year shows things in the way. (Or we could try to find the optimum place, such as maybe Jonesboro, AR to spend your birthday to get a more conception-prone chart.)
Your 2025 birthday (covering 2026) looks good for happiness, marriage, and family overall.
If I had to guess, based on the above and guessing about choices you might make (while presuming you remain at your current location), I'd guess that (unless you turn out to be pregnant now or in the next month) that you'll conceive February 2024, which means a delivery around November 2024. The last week of October or first week of November seem most likely during that time. But (please understand), this far ahead (and with so many choices for you along the way), I'm going way out on a limb to predict that so tightly.
BTW, you're more likely to have sons daughters (2/3 or 3/4 chance), though, of course, the father's chart factors into this.

Re: Conception/Pregnancy in SR/LR
Lexi, you didn't ask about your natal chart, but here are some short notes.
Weighing everything together, your strongest driving NEEDS are individuation needs - the need to be a distinct, distinguished, specific somebody (Sun) - and information needs - the need to receive and transmit information, to be a transfer point of data (Mercury). You also have a strong need to forge your distinctive personal reality and what I call absorption or merger needs - the need to be totally caught up and absorbed within something and, perhaps, to lure and absorb others into something.
How these work out in life is more detailed. Here are some specific links from the site that will get you started:

Thanks a lot Danica & Jim, I greatly appreciate both of your in-depth analysis’. You hit the nail right on the head with everything! The Neptune octile moon transit has been leaving me feeling extremely vulnerable, sensitive and disappointed, so I’m relieved to hear that it would be over with soon. I am especially feeling held back by this Saturn-Uranus transit, it definitely feels like “hurry up and wait” for sure.
And, I would love to have a look into my partners charts. He was born September 19th, 1995, Red Lion, Pennsylvania at 7:08 AM. It is possibly that we’re temporarily relocating to his hometown very soon, possibly in a couple of weeks and we may stay there for a year or so, not entirely sure.

Re: Conception/Pregnancy in SR/LR
The first thing to mention is that moving to Red Lion makes essentially no difference in your natal chart. Anything affected by location is essentially the same for Charleston and Red Lion.
Second, though you didn't ask for an analysis of how your charts mesh, a few remarks seem necessary for what you asked about. I was very taken (at first glance) that you both have Sun rising - you're both strong, forthright, leading personalities. Though you'll each have distinctive way this expresses, the core traits common to most Sun angular people are here: https://www.solunars.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=38#p182
His Venus squares your Ascendant: He loves you. (This is an excellent aspect.) Your Marses are a few degrees apart and in the same sign, which besides being strongly physical (in many possible ways) also marks you as team-mates, collaborators, who will always do better teamed up battling (or struggling for) something together. These are great aspects.
But you also have a strong Moon-Mars interchange. (His Mars squares your Moon within 1°, and your Neptune just a bit more widely.) This is a complicated aspect. I'm just going to quote my standard paragraph on it. (You are Moon, your partner is Mars.)
He's closer than you to the "near 30" point I mentioned, and this is a significant warming up to his distilling what his life will be about. This will sort out over the next two years, approximately. He's going to have Neptune opposite his Sun for those two years, so there will be a lot of uncertainty about who he is and where he is going - identity and direction. After that transit passes and Saturn conjoins his Saturn (spring 2025), he'll have much greater clarity about himself.
In the short run, Jupiter will be stationary (standing still in space) exactly on his Descendant in November. Simply put, this should be a very positive time, and perhaps especially positive for intimate relationships.
Moving to his progressions, his progressed Moon has almost completed one cycle since his birth (which happens soon after turning 27). This means that, over the next four or five months, progressed moon will aspect his Neptune and Uranus. Keeping it simple, this shows strange states of mind, emotional weirdness, deeper reflection, and an inner need to change or break loose somehow.
He's right in the middle or enormously powerful emotional and especially sexual energies. He's likely exploding with them. Progressed Venus is in the same degree as his Mars (and will be for another year). Progressed Mars is about to cross his Pluto for two to three years. These both amplify the instinctual energies quite potently.
I looked at his Solar Arcs also. There is no need to give a long list of aspects over the next year: They essentially repeat what I've said above about the other aspects.
Finally, his Solar Return - his birthday chart. Was he in Charleston for his birthday? Assuming he was there (or somewhere close), this year (his last birthday until his next birthday) will be harder than most with demands, struggles, feeling alone and misunderstood. The pressures on him sort out to pulls between the old and established vs. the new and changing, with an underlying need to be as authentically himself - to sort out himself and get real to himself. (I'm suddenly remembering the lyrics of the old song Strawberry Fields Forever.)
For the next couple of years, you both have a lot of adventures in store. They are primarily inner adventures, adventures in figuring out who you are and what you want to do with your lives (separately and/or together). When it's stressful, the worse side of your Moon-Mars will come out. The most strengthening thing to do for your relationship is to have something to combat or hurl yourselves at together as teammates of some sort.
Finally, we should look at where he is in his own life. Transiting Pluto is conjunct his Uranus. (He's come through Pluto to his Moon the last couple of years, usually a rebellious and psychologically transforming time breaking from psychological if not physical roots.) Pluto to his Uranus shows significant life changes centered on this year (on right now) which at least are rebellious revolutionary, asserting independence; and possibly are quite evolutionary. It signals a new, larger scope to one's vision of life and the world.Enflamed emotions. Sexual attraction is fierce and usually satisfying all around. Moon's surging desire often leads, but Mars needs only a nudge... (Common for sexual relationships including marriage.) -- Passions (which may include tempers) run hot: By teasing, taunting, or even infuriating provocation, each seeks to rouse response from the other, which need not be a nice response; therefore, irritation, argument, and other forms of festering discord may result, especially when the concupiscent needs are unsated. Conflict usually appears slowly, though: Moon-Mars may long pass for deepest love, especially in the young. Disputes are likely in nonsexual relationships if they do not have the same sustained roused passion. Other expressions must then be found for the turbulent Mars energies...
