Catalogue of Outer Planet Conjunctions

Post by Jim Eshelman »

There is a strong conviction among many mundane astrologers that the degrees at which outer-planet pairs last "began their cycle" by mutual conjunction remain "significant degrees" for the entire time until the next conjunction. Many think them subject to transits, and that these describe unfolding major events and long-wave phenomena.

To test this, I am providing below the locations of the most recent conjunctions of the seven outer planets.

I'm leaning toward the conclusion that transits back to these degrees are NOT important factors. I've been watching these for a time - and I have a few more on my calendar through the end of the year - and occasionally I notice conditions that seem somewhat appropriate for a transit to one of these "last conjunction" places. However, with the best of these, they are nothing dramatic or even major.

So... current thought... this is a traditional theory that doesn't seem to hold up.

An interesting thing that has absolutely no practical relevance for anyone reading this...

The next Neptune-Pluto conjunction occurs in 2385. This date caught my attention because 2376 (nine years earlier) is when the vernal point will precess into Aquarius. At the time of the Neptune-Pluto conjunction, the SVP will be 29°52'10" Aquarius.

Even if there is no true astrological significance of the "Age of Aquarius," people are likely to experience that there is - because the ongoing Neptune-Pluto conjunction likely will have a similar effect to what people expect.

Pluto will first enter Taurus in 2371. Neptune first enters in 2379.

Mars is now moving through this interesting stretch of most-recent outer planet conjunctions. In the past, I didn't find such transits reliable indicators and timers, but felt that, for Russia's invasion of Ukraine, I should mention it occurred as Mars transited the last Saturn-Pluto and Jupiter-Pluto conjunctions.

This degree, though, was also the Moscow and Kyiv Capsolar Ascendants, which I think is more demonstrably reliable.

Indeed Jim! And when see that Venus & Mars was actually in rolling partile conjunction since Feb 11 starting at 21 Sag on Feb 11, waiting until its partile conjunction on these two Capsolar Asc for these two nations, it is an absolutely remarkable demostration of Sidereal Mundane Astrology with the Capsolar (Master Chart of the Year) charts of these two nations with their same Capsolar ASCs. Very unusual to a see a rolling partile conjunction of Venus-Mars for so long in the heavens. Since Feb 11 the news media has been saturated with news of possible war between these two nations, but it was written in the starry Sidereal Heavens that the start of the invasion would not begin until the rolling partil conjunction of Venus-Mars fell on the Asc of these two nations. Sidereal Mundane Astrology synchronicity like this sends goose-bumps up my neck, demostrates the political leaders are just puppets on a string connected to the astrological heavens.

As a speculative side note: There is ancient Hindu/Vedic astrological traditions placing Vargottama degrees in the Sidereal Zodiac, and these 4 outer planet conjunctions were in Vargottama degrees in Sag, along with the partile conjunction of Venus-Mars in Sag Vargottama degree--which started this war. This ancient Hindu/Vedic tradition speaks of the Vargottama degrees as being types of "exalations" degrees in the Sidereal Zodiac which "strengthens planets placed in them enormously." I am presently trying to make contact with a Tibetian Monk through a former colleague to see if he may have contacts with astrological sources in India who can verify for me through Sanskrit translations this business about Vargottama degrees, but I have my doubts I will be able to achieve this task.

This also all came to a head the morning the conjunction (especially Mars) squared Putin 's natal Mercury-Neptune.

The conjunction stays within 1° exactly a month, from February 12 to March 12, being exact twice in the middle.

The arc between the two nations was indeed fascinating. What probably impressed me even more is that the event chart angles were exactly those of the Capsolar. This was ALL shown in the original Capsolar and transits to the angles for the two locations without intervention of lunar ingesses.

Exactly Jim! One of the best examples of Sidereal Mundane Astrology on the World Stage in real time I have stood witness to.

I just updated this for the new Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in four days. This removed:
29°25' Cap - Jupiter-Neptune - Dec 21 2009
Anyone want to make observations about what began in late 2009 and has come full cycle / full circle now?

I notice btw that this "sensitive degree" is fading just after Mars conjoined it and with Saturn nearly atop it. I'm not sure I can track any meaning in this but, of course, the floor is open to observations.

I've updated this by adding the new (next month) Jupiter-Uranus conjunction and marking the old one for deletion soon.

Regarding the upcoming Jupiter-Uranus conjunction: Does anyone have insight on what began in 2011 (the last one) and has now come full circle, completing a cycle, and is beginning again in a new form?

In thinking of Uranus transiting Pisces and almost all of Aries, I am recalling the beginnings of the "Pronoun use" and how that has grown in acceptance in many circles and the resistance from other circles. They, Them usage for personal pronouns, and the acceptance of parents for their non binary, extra chromosomal, transgender, gay and asexual children has found a place in society and are welcomed by most.

There have been discussions among different mundane astrology groups of where this began. If we are to trace it to astrological phenomena in modern times I would pick the Uranus-Pluto square (which did overlap the Uranus in Pisces period you mention).

In fact - in the spirit of this particular thread about aspect cycles anchored at the conjunction - modern roots of public gender indistinction surely trace to the Uranus-Pluto conjunction 1965-67 (three exact occurrences) with the next significant development of that aspect being the Uranus-Pluto square 2012-2015 (seven exact occurrences).
