Margo

Post by James Condor »

Hello.
Today my friend Margo gave me her birth data. Born July 2 1985 in Castlegar, BC (Can) at 8:40a.
She now lives in Valparaiso Indiana.

I would like a natal delineation of her chart please so I can discuss with her. I don’t know which planets she has angular.

She is a Gemini, Sag, Gemini.
Sun-Moon , Sun-Venus(in Taurus), Sun- Mars. Moon- Venus, Moon-Mars. Mercury- Pluto, Venus- Saturn

She is bipolar. She is Very energetic, scattered and communicative, talkative. Well spoken. She loves to learn.
She has many projects going on at the same time. She is into gardening, health, dance, music, the arts, yet practical. She listens well and has a good memory.
She is tall and athletic build. She dresses funny. Doesn’t match. She is odd.

July 2, 1985, 8:40 AM PDT, Castlegar, BC. Interestingly she was at a Gemini-Sagittarius Full Moon exactly like the one that occurred last night.

Her most angular planet is Saturn, 0°35' from square Ascendant (i.e., on Nadir). Additionally, Mercury is 1°02' from EP-a, Pluto 4° from IC, and Jupiter 6+° from Descendant. These planets lean private, in-turned, cerebrotonic, which is consistent with the mental (one might say scientific) nature of Gemini.

Her most important aspect structures are the Moon opposite Sun-Mars and Mercury square Pluto, suggesting someone fiery, with guts, holds her own, with an offbeat mind that might seem a little deranged and in any case is intensely interested in questioning, challenging, inquiry, etc.

The relative strength of each of the ten planetary needs is:

99 - Moon Sun Saturn
97 - Mercury
96 - Pluto
92 - Mars
90 - Jupiter
73 - Neptune
59 - Venus
49 - Uranus

Her strongest needs, therefore, are her need to understand and experience herself as a distinctive something or other; to adapt and adjust ongoingly to her physical, social, and psychological environment; and material, formation needs (including personal survival needs).

I'll work up the usual quicky report of the main factors.

Sounds like a double Spoke luminaries (Gemini dominant) tied strongly to Mars :) - I'm loathe to be simplistic about bipolar, though Gemini Suns can lean into that sort of mental disorder. I think she probably most looking at the very hyper Mercury themes of Gemini Sun and Mars and the Mercury-Pluto square (to be crude - but meaning it in the best and worst senses - we can call this "brain derangement").
She has many projects going on at the same time. She is into gardening, health, dance, music, the arts, yet practical. She listens well and has a good memory.

Gemini with a strong Saturn and a good measure of Pluto (for the offbeat) covers this pretty well.

Summary to follow.

These notes on your Sidereal Natal Horoscope are provided for your reference and study. They are not a full interpretation of your birth chart. Rather, they are building blocks from which a full interpretation can be built. Each factor below contributes to your character. The paragraphs may repeat or contradict each other (we all have contradictions). While it does not take an astrologer to fuse these factors into a balanced picture of you and your life, it does require knowledge of human behavior and how we support and sabotage ourselves. Your astrologer can help you in this life-long undertaking of knowing yourself. Read these notes slowly: Feel your way through the interweaving ideas, reflecting on what you know of yourself.

Character is destiny. Who you are determines the life that is yours to unfold. “Know thyself” is the key.

The paragraphs are brief. We have sought to pack in everything essential, to use few words to imply much more. Not every phrase will apply, of course. Some will be more important than others; but the gist of each section should clearly reflect truth about you. When you have spent time with this and have new questions, consult your astrologer to discuss them.

ANGULAR PLANETS & FOREGROUND ASPECTS
Saturn on Nadir (0°35')
INDEPENDENCE, RESERVE, STRUGGLE. Needs to be independent, self-sufficient, self-reliant, private. Survival instincts drive much of the behavior. Industrious, conscientious, methodical, driven (works hard). Struggle (hardship especially in youth, struggle for security, burdensome life demands, or struggling on others' behalf): some are beaten down, most gain strength and endurance. Cautious, prudent, emotionally reserved and careful (may shut others out). Strong parent themes.

Mercury on Eastpoint (1°01')
CURIOSITY, PERCEPTION, ANALYSIS. Alert, attentive, curious, observant, strategic, analytic. Mentally sharp, hard to fool (knows more about you than you think). Youthful animation, keenness. Easily bored without mental stimulation. Knack for handling business (entrepreneurial). Good at detailed work. Nervous (anxiety? worry? touchy?). Little emotional affect, hard to read. Curiosity drives sexual choices.

Pluto on Antimeridian (4°00')
Need to live by their own rules (not others’ rules or conventions). Social outsider (enjoys solitude), resists reflexively conforming to herd expectations (unique, eccentric, odd). Respectful of people (not systems). Kind, unthreatening, guileless (only rarely antisocial); innocent without naivete. Deeply affected by cruelty or injustice. Spiritually inquiring, questioning. Unrushed in emotional commitment.

Mercury square Pluto (2°19')
Thinking is individual, abnormal, reflexively unconventional, ignoring social protocols. Challenging, confrontational (can alienate with words). Extremes: Either forthright, candid, needs frank conversation (probing, investigative, demands answers) or covert, withholding, defending secrets (plotting). Serious-looking, preoccupied, ruminating. Impatient, irritable (poor frustration tolerance, vulnerable to stress or burnout). Instinct for abstract mathematics (great composers, chess players, physicists).

Jupiter square Pluto (2°25' mundo)
Thrives when being controversial within their (social or political) circles. Strong desire to contribute. Feels unbound by precedent. Unapologetic genuineness + commitment to community (family, group, tribe); social outlier but not aloof. Controversial, appears rebellious against contemporary structures (social, intellectual, political). May hunger to “be something,” especially seen, accepted, affirmed by others. Self-improvement indifferent to the rules. Success and prosperity fluctuate (roller-coaster), may not last; may overestimate own importance or standing.
Moon in Sagittarius
Higher and higher (ambition, aspiring, climbing, flight). Seeks rank, leadership, respect. Gracious host, hospitality. Personal code (moral, religious, social, or rational “rightness”). Right and wrong, reward-punishment (judgmental). Enjoys civilization’s fruits. Dramatic (actors). Family ties, loyal to their society (community, church, team, class, nation, race).

Moon opposite Sun (1°06' mundo)
Energetic, dynamic, terrific drive, forceful. Psychic vitality, a mental-emotional attitude biased toward success. Intense desire in whatever they undertake. High vitality (unless the luminaries are afflicted). Sexual desires strong, passionate, though often narcissistic. Possible vanity, self-exaltation, and obstinacy.

Moon opposite Mars (2°43')
Active and reactive, temperamental, thinks and acts rapidly. Detests idleness, rarely still. Driven, competent, ambitious. Impatient, acerbic, irritable. Frank and sharp-tongued (hence friction in close relationships). Needs physical, emotional, and mental “room to breathe” (little domestic instinct). Substance abuse not uncommon. Sexual needs strong, almost irrepressible (the women are often sexual firecrackers, notable for the speed and intensity of their climaxes).

Moon conjunct Neptune (5°04')
Sensitive (perhaps excessively so). Empathic: can be deeply understanding, sympathetic; also, psychically vulnerable, easily wounded, fearing rejection. Self-defense through avoidance, closing senses, withdrawing, introversion (worry, moodiness). Drawn to the imaginative and surrealistic.
Sun in Gemini
Acute nervous system. Speed, rhythm, variety (dispersion). More reason than belief. Courageous. Rejects forced stratification. “What’s expected” often makes no sense to them. Play, youthful. Needs affection, connection; feels loneliness deeply, often alienated. Music, arts, business. Mechanical, technical.
More detail: https://www.solunars.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=35#p157
Sun octile Venus (0°24')
Charming, gentle, fine companion. Strong in friendship. Aesthetic appreciation. Most comfortable in paired relationship. A little vain.

Sun conjunct Mars (3°03' mundo)
Action, drive, accomplishment, vitality, courage. Restless, forthright, direct (perhaps hasty, impatient, temperamental, low frustration tolerance). Strong physical aggression (for business, sex, etc.) – women especially are sexually voracious. Industrious, instinctively leads or commands, thus often promoted.

Sun opposite Neptune (6°10')
Active imagination. Air of secrecy or mystery. Loves drama, music, fantasy, mysticism, surrealism. Can move and inspire others if they gain focus and perseverance. Sensitive to impressions; exaggerates the feeling tone of a time and place. Unrealistic self-view.
Mars in Gemini
Bright, curious, forthright, strong opinions, speaks to inform (needs to be right). Stirs conversation (debate, argument). More pragmatic than idealistic. Methodical scientific mind hones facts: can commit energy to inquiry (scientists). Strengthened by being heard; otherwise over-compensates. Humane, sides with equity and fair treatment. Substance abuse (then ingenious deceptions).

Mercury in Cancer
Mind strongly influenced by feelings (romantic, subjective, infused with imagination). Writing style leverages imagery. Edits, modifies, and embellishes ideas, polishing and rehashing. Planners, organizers. Gives insightful counsel.

Venus in Taurus
Intense feeling life, passionate about things important to them (sometimes moody, glum). Driven by issues important to them: ardent, dedicated. Involvement in the arts (creators, patrons, supporters). Gentle, friendly, affectionate, desires and gives tenderness. Socially engaging, good-humored. Kind and generous spirits.
Venus opposite Saturn (4°11')
Work, duty, devotion are gratifying. Restrictions in love; ordinary pleasures may be deferred. Many seem comfortable unpartnered, though there is rarely sexual restraint. Childhood hardship or deprivation shape adult patterns. Sober, responsible.
OUTER PLANET ASPECTS
Neptune sextile Pluto (0°03')
Open to shifting viewpoint, alternative perspectives, variant possibilities: Potential to forge a new worldview and enroll others. Uncertainty feeds desire for certainty, regarding things a certain way and not other.

Jupiter sextile Uranus (0°48')
Interested in and mind suited to science, philosophical inquiry, and self-inquiry (knack for astrology). Success through unlikely paths (distinguish themselves). Committed to progress, sense of intellectual exceptionalism. Ingenuity, insight (sees outside the usual paths, thinks on a broader scale). Respectful yet unbeholden to rank or class; gently resists authority, speaks truth, egalitarian.

Jupiter octile Neptune (1°14')
Idealist; dreams of “something better” (impressionable). Unreasoned optimism. Generous (excessively? unwisely?). Compassionate, humanitarian, committed to the collective. Entertainment. Religious, spiritual, mystical interests. Impractical (unrealistic, fantasy) relationship to money (speculation).
