In HOSNI (Handbook of Sidereal Natal Interpretations) and in the new book being written, for each planet I give a statement of what it Signifies and another of how it acts As a modifier. Despite all the other mind tricks we play, basically transits work with the transiting planet a modifier to what the natal planet signifies. (It's so basic to what we do in practice that you may wonder why I make any deal about it at all.)
If formulations of transit meanings really come together from this simple approach, the boon to teaching transits - as to practical interpretation - is normal.
Therefore, I want to work these out formulaically, tighten the language bit, and then eventually compare them to what we have historically used based on observation (which sometimes seems a little like a hodge-podge of this-and-that). Then I'll see how these highly structured theoretical formulations fit in with our standing interpretations of transits.
As I work up each of the 110 individual transits, I'll delete the separate Modifier and Signifier lines. Only a (probably crude and forced) theoretical description will remain. As I fully complete each one, I will
