Here's a bit of ancient history that I just found in a box: The first time I really ever saw an accurate copy of my chart. This is a copy Garth Allen surprised me with sometime in 1970. (It's now a very old faded photocopy made from a 1970-era copier.) I thought some of you might like to see how he drew them. Everything on it is his handwriting except the 24° etc. scrawled in a different pen after the SVP.

Reminds me of my first hand written Natal Chart done by an astrologer in Chicago in 1977, I still have it pictured-framed somewhere in storage. BTW Jim, do you still think you can locate Firebrace “Wars in the Sidereal” for me to study?

Maybe. I'm going through a lot of boxes. I'll keep it in mind if I find it. (I just found three more letters from Fire race and my entire set of Bradley correspondence)

Thanks Jim.
Re: My first copy of my chart
That's really cool
He has such elegant script, that's so nice to see. What a pleasant memory for you to come across. You must have been ecstatic when you first received it. I hand drew my natal on a big piece of paper that I had painted a self portrait like fantasy picture that showed me engulfed in rainbow colored flames bursting out of a volcano in the middle of the ocean. I had no idea what anything meant at the time astrologically.
You have a real treasure there Jim, I'd say frame it and display it except sunlight is so mean to ink and paper it would be illegible in no time.

Re: My first copy of my chart
Steve, I found it! (Tra la!) Now I just have to figure out how to copy it (since some of the pages are oversized foldouts.) I may have to end up mailing it to you for a while and letting you figure out how to copy it.SteveS wrote: Fri Aug 16, 2024 5:04 am BTW Jim, do you still think you can locate Firebrace “Wars in the Sidereal” for me to study?

Probably somewhere... but it will go faster if you resend it.
