Sean P. Diddy Combs
After learning of his indictments over the past few days, I'm not surprised that a male Libra Sun would be outed over several years as a highly organized sexual deviant, whose crimes were motivated primarily by libidinal, narcissistic, and controlling urges.
Male Libra Suns often tend to manifest pathologically. Prince Charles, a milquetoast, sex obsessed, moma's boy who's a pushover. Caitlyn Jenner for obvious reasons. Sean Combs has a very strong Mars by way of Capricorn, which probably helped to fuel his Libra Sun pathology. We don't have an accurate birth time for Combs.

Re: Sean P. Diddy Combs
Good catch! We don't have a birth time for Puff Daddy, but he was born November 4, 1969, in New York City with Sun in Libra, Moon in Leo, and Mars in Capricorn - all strongly descriptive. As you say, to the extent that our society continues to insist on hardened gender roles, it continues to be harder for man men whose soul is the essence of femininity to sort out their own identity. Often there is a lot of unconscious retaliation against the gender double-bind they find themselves in.
Even without a birth time we can see that solar arc Mars is moving into opposition to his Pluto, suggesting two years of a lot of legal trouble and being caught breaking the law. For a noon (fake) birth time, directed Moon is just moving into orb of opposition to his Saturn, which might suggest that a time around noon or in the hour or so after would be about right.
Similarly, secondary progressed Moon (for a noon starter-time) is just leaving opposition to progressed Mars, which might mean the noon-ish time is in the right range.
Even without a birth time Pluto is in partile conjunction with natal Mars. This could be an aspect under which one performs the sex-crimes for which he's been charged or, in the alternative, a time when one has to face the music. Neptune is pretty much departed from opposing his Pluto. Uranus is approach opposition to his Neptune, which may mark times over the next year when "truth dispels lies." Unless there is an angle involved, he doesn't get any Jupiter relief in the foreseeable future.
He was arrested in NY (he's being held in a Brooklyn jail).
His last SSR (nearly a year ago) had nothing obviously strong that we can see without a birth time, though one wonders if Saturn near his Neptune landed on angles. His 9/2 SLR might have had a Sun-Moon conjunction but is especially interesting because of an exact Mars-Neptune square atop his Pluto: I'd bet a buck that this was on angles for that SLR (perhaps along with Pluto's conjunction with his Mars, a double-reverse-whammy). [these can't happen at the same time, though.] His 9/16 demi-lunar has a few things churning, but nothing decisive (other than the continuing Pluto to Mars) - but I bet Venus' conjunction with his natal Venus-Jupiter was NOT on angles.

Re: Sean P. Diddy Combs
If I had to guess, I'd pick the SLR for Mars rising in partile square to Neptune opposite natal Pluto on Zenith-Nadir (which also preserves the Neptune and Pluto orbs without displacement for mundane angularity). This occurred September 3, 12:32 AM and works back to a possible birth time (rounded to the nearest 10 minutes) of November 4, 1969, 4:50 PM EST. Saturn close rises opposite his setting Sun-Mercury with a mundane Mars-Neptune square.
With speculative angles, we can revisit the other techniques. The Moon aspects that cluster around noon-ish times aren't there (e.g., directed Moon is 2° past natal Mercury-Saturn). The main directions are Mars recently entered opposition orb to his Pluto and Neptune now leaving square orb to his Venus (though neither involves a luminary or angle so it's hard to take these seriously). We don't get progressed Moon conjunct Mars but - even better - we do get progressed Mars half a degree from opposite natal Moon!

Seems more fitting for a tropical Scorpio Sun. Venus ruled Libra is not about violence and sex... but Mars/Pluto ruled Scorpio can be exactly that.
Anyway, once again we see Mars-Pluto for sexual abuse, in this case with Neptune on the midpoint between them. Ebertin says that's about cunning and deceitfulness and the tendency to cause harm to others secretly and unobtrusively.

Re: Sean P. Diddy Combs
I can see why you'd say that and I think it misses the real dynamic. I had to sort through this in the early '70s and it was a definite speed bump in my switch to Sidereal. It was really obvious that a majority of Libra men I knew well were bullies with rage issues and a streak of violence. It didn't seem like Fagan's idea of "the great peacemakers" at all (though there were also some of the most remarkable peacemakers, too: several were wielders of compromise and grace in public, in their profession, and then bullies in private).Arena wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 2:42 am Seems more fitting for a tropical Scorpio Sun. But the women weren't like that. It was clear that there was a clear gender-divide in how his manifest (remember, it was the 1970s). Then I started noticing that the clearest exceptions to this pattern were men who openly identified with something or that the world around them characterized as feminine. The might have been artists or employed in cosmetics and fashion If they were openly gay, they were home free! But there weren't many.
I think this is one of the clearest cases of a broader thing astrologers need to heed: Aside from the chart itself, there will always be conflict within and without when someone is trying to be something that mismatches what they actually are. Historically - and still today in places where the social conditions adhere to more rigorous gender definitions - Libra men have to deal with a mismatch between their inborn profoundly feminine nature on the one hand and social expectations that they "keep proving you're a real man" on the other. Overcompensation on toxic masculinity is the way the understandable rage commonly shows itself. There are still a lot of Libra men who are bullies and brutes, trying to beat down anything that reminds them of, well, themselves.
Indeed he does. If by chance my (almost off the cuff) rectification is right (odds are always against these being right), he has Mars and Saturn on angles; but even without that we have the animal-like Capricorn Mars in moderately wide trine to Pluto. It's not all that strong unless the Mars itself is strong.Anyway, once again we see Mars-Pluto for sexual abuse, in this case with Neptune on the midpoint between them. Ebertin says that's about cunning and deceitfulness and the tendency to cause harm to others secretly and unobtrusively.

Damn! I just wanted to come read about the Diddler. Ouch!
It confuses and disgusts me that this man is a Libra. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it - to have justice in your soul and abuse others like that! Don’t ever let him out again.
Check this out, though: I have heard more than once that he very much believes “this is what I had to go through, so this is what you have to go through.” He is doing exactly what he had to go through to get *his* success. And that does strike me as a strongly held, perverted sense of justice.
If there are high stats on criminal sexual *abuse* for Libra Suns, I’d like to see them. I have a hard time believing it.

Re: Sean P. Diddy Combs
I was also just listening to something that said his mother nicknamed him “Puffy” for two reasons:
1. He always puffed out his chest to look bigger
2. He always huffed and puffed when he didn’t get his way.
Idk. I thought it fit some of the discussed themes.
I also note his Venus-Jupiter conjunction (which I bet this actually is on an angle if we’re making bets) is also squared by Ceres(?), which I know nothing about, but I feel like Diddy is probably going to epitomize whatever this is.

Abusers? No, Certainly no hard statistics. There are a lot of dandies, flirts, and wolves (the constellation of The Wolf overlays Libra) and an interesting cluster of murderers, and of course the broader gender identity juggling; but nothing suggesting a pattern of abusers any more than any other sign.Lance wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2024 10:56 am If there are high stats on criminal sexual *abuse* for Libra Suns, I’d like to see them. I'm betting he has that Capricorn Mars right on an angle. I have no trouble theoretically with the speculative chart (based on recent SLRs mostly) with Mars and Saturn on major angles.

Re: Sean P. Diddy Combs
I am surrounded by Libras and am one myself.
From what I have seen is that when a male Libra is raised in an authentic and lovable way there are not as many internal conflicts. He is allowed to be who he is and be more openly feminine and gentle. And I think that's what makes Libra men so attractive when they are healthy and in balance. I know quite a few that had endured hardship as femininity was sort of beaten out of them. Whilst my cousin was raised by his mum in the most respectful and authentic way, he could be truly himself and is a happy man.
My list contains a mix of talented, charming and gentle Libras, but also some extreme brutes:
Joost Klein Eurosongfestival participant who was expelled
Willem Kieft soccerplayer (struggled with addictions)
Aaron Copland composer
Jan Terlouw politician
Johannes Vermeer painter
Alexander de Croo, Belgian Prime Minister
Ike Turner
Charles Manson
Jan Wolkers (married three times and lived with women in a community, also made a erotic themed movie Turkish Fruit))
Butcher of Hannover
Paul Joseph Goebbels
Prince Laurent of Belgium
Herman Brood singer and artist
Marc Dutroux child molester
Jos Brech child molester
Lee Harvey Oswald
Oscar Wilde
Peter R. de Vries politician lost his life in 2021
Job Cohen former Mayor of Amsterdam
Johann Strauss composer
Pablo Picasso
Freddie Heineken
Benjamin Netanyahu Israel PM
Pete Hoekstra Ambassador
Bram Bakker Psychiatrist (controversial)
Billy Graham

A lot of these (to my knowledge at least) aren't brutes or even harsh. Gates is interesting - I've met him and talked with him on times I was at Microsoft. He's known for being a stern taskmaster ("you always have to know your facts and have everything in place when you have a meeting with Bill" sort of thing) but as really gracious guy (which was also my experience of him).
According to his birth record, Oscar Wilde was born October 16, 1854, 3:00 AM LMT in Dublin, which has Sun 29°44'26" Virgo. He was SUCH a Virgo <g> (plus the Cancer Moon).

I've often had very difficult time with Libras. I've mentioned this before..My biggest bully growing up, my aunt was a Libra. She would and still does compete in mental gymnastics to turn herself into the victim and try to punish others over her own wrong doings. I do think in a lot of Libras, there is a self centered behavior. I think it's ironic that two inherently Venusian personalities are running for president. Trump with his Taurus Sun and Kamala with her Libra Sun. Sorry, a bit off topic with that.

Yes, I thought a couple of weeks ago that we have a Taurus and a Libra. The same two candidates are also a Scorpio vs Aries Moon.
It took me a bit to realize that Flo was just giving a list of Libra men, not a list of Libra men bullies and abusers. In a similar vein, here are the men with Libra Sun in my catalogue of about 1,000 famous chart examples:

A similar list of Libra women is quite extraordinary for the number of stunningly gorgeous women as well as women of almost singular distinction (the one most famous female scientist in an era of total male dominance, and several women who are nearly saints of modern feminism).

I can tell you that in my own life, I was extremely gentle natured until I really began to have to fight for myself, my independence and autonomy. And that wasn’t until my early thirties. It felt like I was up against the wall, and it came out really angry and vicious.
It makes me think of Jung’s “inferior functions.”
For a good while, I stirred up a lot of heat on internet boards. I don’t think anybody ever put together that it was in defense of others or in some way to protect others. Misguided, or whatever, it’s what it was. Medication helped.
Once my psyche erupted, it took years to settle it back down.
Regardless, I think it’s the Saturnine side of Libra. Lead with beauty, but Saturn is 100% there to stop your {bs}. I’m not saying that’s always applied reasonably or fairly.

Greeks and Romans attributed Hephaestus/Vulcan to Libra. Though I don't think this is the primary reason, I always find myself remembering that the god after whom volcanoes were named was thought to rule Libra.
The inventor of dynamite was a Libra... and this led him to underwrite the most revered annual award for peace, which still bears his name.
Eruptions... maybe the dermatological kind during adolescence (I don't know)?... but yes, there are eruptions with this constellation aspiring most powerfully for peace.

I personally feel that through the language of astrology he could be proven innocent of all charges. He is a very smart man.
