Hi Everyone, I just wanted to know, what aspects/planetary combinations would indicate romance or someone special coming in to your life. I know that everyone is special, and I myself rely more on emotional stimuli as opposed to physical, and for some it's 50/50.
I am well aware that Venus rules all types of relationships not just romantic
I liked the thread on lucky/unluck aspects so I decided we need this one as well, what Aspects are very characteristic of Romance? Which ones should we stay away from, meaning some aspects that might indicate an unrequited love.
Too, in SSRs, does the zodiac in which Venus is positioned make any difference , meaning Venus in Virgo/Scorpio
I am sure about a few aspects

Moon/Sun-spirit and soul, the conscious and the unconscious, vitality and feeling, husband and wife.
Paraphrased:According to the premier of Sidereal Astrology, the moon represents for carnal love.

Moon/Sun/Venus-Harmonious coordination between spiritual and emotional as well as masculine, and feminine dispositions, power of attraction between the sexes, artistic interests. Friendship between lovers, marriage of love, harmonious love, and harmonious marriage.

Moon/Sun/(ASC)Dsc-Frank and Open behavior toward other persons, desire to make new contacts, and association, a friendship, sociable meeting with other persons.

Venus/Jupiter-The Joy of Love, happiness in love
Paraphrased:Very Dopamine producing aspect, but it can transcend romance.

Venus/Uranus- Arousing of love, rhythm eccentricity.
Personal Experience: I've experienced this before in various Enneads, and lunar returns, and to me it was characterized by a heart pounding romance, very electrifying, and energizing.
I've heard it mentioned here on the boards as sometimes homoerotic.

Venus/Neptune-An erotic imagination, an illusion
Paraphrased:can go either way depending on the individual, very much an aspect that signifies unrequited love, love sick
Personal Experience: In 1996, my mother actually had Neptune transiting Venus on her Solar Return DSC! This had a lasting influence for years to come, my mother had been courted by a younger man who seemed nice at first. My mother acknowledged she had feelings for this man, but could not indulge because she is quite conservative, and was 11 years his senior.
About three quarters through her solar return my mother's Mr Right began stalking the both of us, the whole thing did not end until 3 years later when my mother decided to get a restraining order.

Venus/Pluto-Separative-Fanatic love, desire for sensual pleasure, lasciviousness.
Paraphrased:All or nothing aspect
Personal Experience: Depending on the individual, this aspect has the potential to be a NY Times Best Seller. I experienced this a few times in an SSR, by Venus Conjoining Pluto in progression, and Venus going Stationary over Pluto, the last two at the same time. I was left feeling out of touch with reality, I was determined to prove that my boyfriend at the time was unfaithful, and sure enough I did. I went through great lengths, quite embarrassing I might add, to obtain this information.
We had an emotional show down, and it ended for about a year and a half.

Moon/Venus-The feeling of love, devotion
Personal Experience: I've experienced this Aspect in a Kinetic Solar Return, my impression from this aspect was that it was very pure. This aspect really has the propensity to go past romantic love, and touch the lives of mothers who are giving birth, as well as fathers becoming parents for the first time. This is one of my favorite aspects.

Venus/Saturn-Inhibition through love
Specifically Saturn tr. Venus can have a stablizing force on a relationship depending on the individual.

I know you have to read the charts and transits, altogether, in their entirety, but I was just wondering what other aspects are usually dead on for finding romance, or the person you belive to be your soul mate

You might do everyone a service if you go through the transit interpretations given above, and list all of them with this characteristic.

I would add Venus-Saturn to the list (transit SA to natal VE, or their combination in return maps - especially when partile and angular). but it can go both ways - indicating separations, as well as new stable beginnings (or deeper commitment).

I've seen this with Saturn to Venus transits, but not with Venus to Saturn.

yes, when in transit, I was thinking about tr. Saturn to Venus only, not tr. VE to SA!
