My current and upcoming SSR

Hey guys, its been a while. Right now I am going through a lot. So I was hoping I could get a look at my SSRs. The current and the upcoming one. Whatsoever happens, next year is very important. More like cant afford to mess it up.

Hey Hakim, welcome back, and happy fasting in this holy Muslim month of Ramadan... And hope you had a good Iftar/breaking of fast.

I know Jim and many others here would give you a much, much better and insightful reading than this beginner (who has just passed over a year and a half after getting to know about Sidereal astrology) can but I thought I should give mine too as I was the one who read your SSR last year...

Yes I recall mentioning that your current SSR (which started last year) had both natal and transiting Saturns foreground, thus Saturn being the theme planet for the whole year. Click on the links to read Jim's interpretations for each of those Saturn factors and do tell us how do you relate to them.

In general, this year had (and will still have) much hardships and strains, being financially limited, facing reality before heading out to pursue your dreams, lots of stress, seemingly sudden responsibilities and demands, everyone seems critical of you, depression and despondency, and everything else Saturnian. Conclusion: one of the worst years of your life. I'm sorry for whatever you're facing in life right now. And I really hope none of your loved ones passed away.

However, practical matters would've gone well; you may be more obedient to your superiors and you may have completed lots of work and tasks in your job. Progress, salary rises and promotions however come slowly. If you're still studying, you may have gotten more studious and hardworking than usual, but yes there's still the lots of work to do and lots of stress part.

Pluto is also coming back and forth from your Mars-Jupiter and Uranus-Neptune, so yes, you are going through a lot.
The former being issues of power, work/jobs, finance, anger and sex while the latter being issues of beliefs, transformations and your view of life and yourself. Here's Jim's interpretations for Pluto transits.

Your SSR for this upcoming year features Mars on the Ascendant and Mercury on the Eastpoint. SSR Moon unfortunately aspects transiting Saturn and it also aspects natal Mercury, partile squared by SSR Saturn, Saturn to your Mercury acting like a "transit of the year" as Jim puts it.

So feeling "unheard" by others is likely. Mars-Mercury shows you'll have increased mental activity, but you may also me more vocally hurtful to others too, so be careful with who you're arguing with. Others may verbally attack you too. Accidents during travel and vehicular accidents can't be crossed out. Using this Mars-Mercury energies in positive ways such as engaging your intellect, being creative and enterprising (provided that others welcome your ideas and mental output), studying, and analysing will prove fruitful. Otherwise that pent-up creative mental energy can get you stressed out and you may have bursts of anger and frustration. Avoid getting too addicted to alcohol, smoking and maybe even drugs as a result of that, as Mercury-Mars combos are very common within alcoholics and within some chain-smokers.

Could you give us some details on what are you currently doing now? Like are you studying, working? And why is next year very important to you that you shouldn't mess it up? Knowing these details would help us make a better delineation.

Still studying though and yeah got lots of responsibilities on my shoulders. Responsibilities I feel that I should not take. I am here alone in this country, the powers been out for 2 days cuz the bills were late. Parents send money. Have to budget it as much as possible. The people in the government sector are kind of unscrupulous, even in this holy month they still cut the power.
Anyways, I did get in an accident. Could have been very serious. The bus overturned. Luckily, got out of that alive with a few scratches.

As for the next year as to why it is important. I was supposed to give my exams this month. Couldn't due to financial circumstances. Also some of my papers weren't in order. I decided to hold off giving exams. Could've borrowed the money but figured the way things are going I wont be able to concentrate and the money would go to waste. Now I am glad I did what I did. Next year, I am gonna finish up my studies and leave this country for good.

After reading your post, I have a strong feeling, that I would be done with whatever I have planned but I will also have experiences which would kind of change me in some ways. Its all good for now.

Btw, I really should at least decrease my frequency of smoking. Kinda makes sense.

Well I mentioned accidents for this upcoming Mercury-Mars year but this applies to this year's Saturn-themed SSR as well. I'm so sorry for the terrible mishap you've faced. Please be safe over there in Dhaka... Saturn could've made things worse. Things like these and over-crowdedness are serious problems there.

So your 2017 return has Mercury and Mars angular with SSR Moon-Saturn aspecting Mercury. Looks fine for concentrated study and high mental activity (but could be way better). Hopefully Moon-Saturn won't make you too depressed or down and Saturn to your Mercury doesn't mean barriers in Mercury matters, esp
education in this case. And of course the other Mercury-Mars things I've mentioned earlier, like not getting into an argument with someone you should not (like your lecturer), and the feeling not not being "heard" or noticed, especially in class-like environments...

From the 14th February 2018 till later on the following 1 April you'll have Jupiter conjunct your Pluto. Hopefully this may mean that something burdening your life heavily will be removed, or something else positive happens through a separation or even a vacation if that means getting released from your burdens.

Smoking in general is already very bad, whether you're in Mercury-Mars energies or not. I admit I've smoked but I wouldn't have even reached 10 cigarettes when I stopped as I was too afraid of facing the possible health (and even social) consequences, and also I didn't want to make my loved ones worry if my health seriously deteriorate because of it. Besides that I have never gotten the point of inhaling toxic gases for it's temporary effects that I had a hard time feeling. Hope I didn't appear condescending or anything...

BTW I almost forgot to notice that your closely-angular Saturn was aspected by Neptune, and thence Neptune is also partile squaring your SSR Ascendant.

This just adds more oil into the flame—no wonder you felt so alone there! Also you have SSR Moon aspecting natal Venus; your need for love and friendship is high. It also adds more factors into your accident incident, along with SSR Mars being more widely foreground.
Your health and energy may have also deteriorated, along with your hopes and spirits. You may tend to feel more intensely at this time, with even some exaggeration; especially sad feelings, as a result of Saturn being angular. There may have even been a period that you just couldn't do anything but brood over your miseries—I myself am going through a Saturn-Neptune SSR too. But now things are way better, with my demi SSR having Jupiter setting.

Oh man. You are right. Never felt so powerless. Majority of my time I spent on brooding on my miseries. To be honest, when I first had the SSR done, I did not quite expect the saturn-neptune aspect to be so depressing. Atleast, I know now what to expect or atleast some idea how events manage to unfold.

Hopefully, it will all be over soon. Coincidentally, I have been investigating and researching on how to better use my mind. All in all my goal is to be a powerhouse when it comes to learning and learn it fast. Next year is gonna be very interesting. I suppose it is the result of all the groundwork I have been doing so far. It wasnt easy managing periods of sadness though but cant let that stop me.

It looks like you're well on your way! Use your SSR Saturns to keep focusing and learning till you go through your Mercury-Mars periods.

Oh btw, any long term transits I should be aware of?

Transiting Pluto is just coming into partile conjunction with your natal Uranus Neptune conjunction, and then it'll square your natal Mars Jupiter. Nothing much else from any of the other outer planets. (Some sextiles, if you count those.)
These are, of course, generational aspects, so unless they come to an angle in a return, they won't be much trouble.

BTW, if you go to astro.com and set up an account, it works as well for most basics as Solar Fire, and it's a lot cheaper (as in free.)
