Jupiter-Uranus-Saturn?

Post by Arena »

June 2015

Steve, do you have Ebertin's take on those three planets together in aspect?

You've said in the forum elsewhere:
quoting Ebertin’s words for the psychological nature of Jupiter-Uranus aspects:

“They indicate, in most cases, inner tensions or strains which are suddenly released. At one time, the author named this configuration the “Thank the Lord” position, because people having such a configuration have repeatedly exclaimed the words “Thank the Lord” after the release of the tension or stain from which they were suffering.”
But how does it turn out if Saturn is in aspect to these two?

With Saturn involved there will be a tone of more inhibitions or tensions. Ebertin offers with the combo of Jupiter/Uranus =Saturn:
The tendency at times to have sudden inhibitions, one sided principles, obstinacy. The occurrence of sudden inhibitions before the attainment of an objective, sudden disadvantages, losses.
As we can see with his above quoted words, with Saturn involved, more chances for ‘losses.’

I should add that, in asking about these three planets together, you implying even weight. Steve has given the interpretation when Jupiter-Uranus is the primary combination, and Saturn then aspects it (by transit, or midpoint, or lesser aspect into a major aspect, or wider aspect into a primary core, etc.).

And it matters what type of chart this is - whether a natal, a return chart, etc. If they are relatively even in weight, orb, etc., then you need to think your way through Jupiter-Saturn AND Jupiter-Uranus AND Saturn-Uranus coexisting. However, if two of them are obviously more connected to each other, the third one then acts more like an adverb. Saturn to Jupiter-Uranus will be VERY different from Jupiter to Saturn-Uranus or Uranus to Jupiter-Saturn.

Jim’s words are so true. Also it should be understood that all of Ebertin’s combinations can manifest either positive or negative judged by circumstances within one’s living environment. Ebertin writes:

I am convinced that all combinations have both positive and negative characteristics. Thus conclusions should never be drawn from one single combination but always from a consideration of the charts as a whole.

Ebertin found that major Jupiter-Uranus configurations and their combinations can manifest with some type of ‘a release from tensions.’

Ebertin’s book ‘Combinations of Stellar Influences’ (COSI) is a great aid in seeing/understanding planetary aspect manifestation when using charts explained by Sidereal Astrology. Also, it should be understood that in many cases we see Sidereal Astrology charts that combine 3 planet aspect combinations with the angles, and Ebertin’s book COSI is the only book I would recommend for aiding our minds for seeing/understanding 3 planet combinations with the charts of Sidereal Astrology.

Yes it seems to be what I guessed. It will kind of ruin that otherwise good aspect between Jupiter and Uranus.

I have an upcoming transit of those, Jupiter & Uranus in transit are coming into a trine this month and will both sextile my natal Saturn. In several months, in Oct, they will come into a quincunx (150°) and Jupiter will sq my natal Saturn while Uranus will sextile it. I guess my natal Saturn will be a deal breaker for those two ...but my natal Uranus might be considered in the picture as well.

Here's the good news: Transiting planet sextiles to natal planets are generally worthless. You can ignore them.

Further good news: Quincunx in almost any situation is of no value. (Exceptions are minor and few.) So the only real transit you have here is Jupiter to your natal, and that's generally a very good transit: "Worries, fears, and doubts are eased, and your mind set at peace for the time being, perhaps due to the lifting of a financial concern. As with the return of the prodigal, the slate is wiped clear in some area of your life, relieving emotional stress and allowing a clean start. Now is the time for establishing a new foundation, especially economic. Gains are stable, advance slow and steady. No wondrous rewards come from out of the blue, but you get rewards you have genuinely earned. Hard work and stable investments (especially real estate) prove worthwhile now, and build to a solid return later. The emphasis is on assuming greater responsibility, and settling into a more comfortable security for yourself and those who count on you."

Ok, sounds good actually.
We did invest in real estate earlier this year, so I guess it will turn out to be a good investment. We are already seeing the fruits of that.

Ebertin states:
As I have said elsewhere on many occasions my repeated experience has been that sextiles and trines seem to relate to more passive conditions whilst those angles divisible by 45 degrees appear to point to the actual manifestation of events.
