My birthchart. Just learned about sidereal.
I was born January 30, 1996 at 7:30 P.M. in Overland Park, Kansas. Using western astrology, having an Aquarius sun sign didn't really appeal to anything within me. While reading a book on astrology in the college library, I remember being sort of jealous at the keywords associated to the Capricorn sign. A list of keywords is quite a fun way to try to learn about the signs. I remember Scorpio and Capricorn having the most intense words tied to them. Just joined this site since it seems to be actually educational, and not in a state of decay like most forums.

Your Sun is 15 Capricorn. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=35#p164
Your Moon is 25 Taurus. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=34#p143
Your Mars is 23 Capricorn http://solunars.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=32#p124
Your Moon is trine Mars: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=184#p1244
These are all Jim Eshelman's interpretations. Jim is the owner of this site.
Your angles are
Ascendant 09 Leo 07, making the Descendant 09 Aquarius 07
MC 04 Taurus 55, making the IC 04 Scorpio 55.
Pluto is 08 Scorpio 04, making it the most angular planet. http://solunars.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=38#p191
Siderealists don't really see the angles as having interpretations. They're just a marker for where planets are most expressive.
Your Mercury at 24 Sagittarius is partile (exactly) sextile your Venus at 24 Aquarius, which is also 3° off an exact conjunction your Saturn at 27 Aquarius.
Mercury-Venus viewtopic.php?f=16&t=182#p1212
Venus-Saturn viewtopic.php?f=16&t=182#p1222
Your other planets are
Jupiter is 11 Sagittarius
Uranus is 6 Capricorn
Neptune is 1 Capricorn
Your Moon is 25 Taurus. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=34#p143

It's meant as a starting point for your questions, so please don't hesitate to ask if you have any.
Re: My birthchart. Just learned about sidereal.
I'm interested in astrology mainly for the sense of direction it can bestow; as a divination. I can't be sure of it's "objective" validity at this point in time, but I think it nearly impossible that a series of symbols properly concentrated on could not lead to a good idea. As for my own personal validations for astrology, I have always had an instinct to organize my surroundings, which led me naturally to sidereal as opposed to western astrology since organization is a Capricorn trait (although the first cause was western's astronomical inaccuracies). As for the other planets, I don't draw many parallels between them and my tendencies, with the possible exception of the placements of Mars and Uranus. I am rebellious against authority, but not in a reactionary way, and my willpower for the most part feels pretty dormant because I've gotten so used to imposed daily routine. Being that I am an astrological novice, is there any conflicting energies you can sense? Or weaknesses?

I think I don't understand the question. Say more, please. Are you asking if there are particular problems evident in the character shown? Or something else?plutowade wrote: Mon Aug 07, 2017 11:09 pm Being that I am an astrological novice, is there any conflicting energies you can sense? Or weaknesses?

I think Plutowade might be looking for more or less the same kind of analysis you just did for Yarlith, but doesn't know the right words to ask for it. I just gave him links, but I think it really helps to have someone as experienced as you are put it together a bit, especially for beginners. (I also think he's been hanging out on tropical boards that treat the chart as some sort of meditation mandala or something.)

Re: My birthchart. Just learned about sidereal.
Let me add some preliminary notes - mostly the same thing JSAD highlighted above - for when I have time to come back and look at this more deeply.
Sun is in Capricorn, Moon in Taurus (add: Mars in Capricorn like Sun)
Pluto on IC is the only angular planet (square Asc 1°02').
Venus conjoins Saturn in Aquarius (2°). Moon closely squares Venus (1°04') and Saturn (1°43'). That's the main aspect structure of the chart. Venus-Saturn also sextiles Mercury closely (Venus only 05'). Add Moon trine Mars (< 3°) to round out the aspects.
I need to figure quote how much to emphasize that, mundanely, Uranus is 2°09' before, and Neptune 1°23' after, Vertex. This makes and highlights a < 4° Uranus-Neptune conjunction that doesn't appear as a close aspect in the ecliptical chart.
To be continued when I have time...

Re: My birthchart. Just learned about sidereal.
Were it not for the angular Pluto, I would read this chart as the essence of "Midwest conventional" I grew up around: common sense, simple values, self-sufficient where possible and connected to neighbors where it works - generally hard-working, dutiful, always feeling you don't have quite enough but willing to figure things out with what you've got and a bit of help, loves trip-tip
But then... you've got this closely angular Pluto. Take that by itself, or add it to the Capricorn Sun, and you have someone who can't quite stand to live by other people's conventions. In fact, I suspect part of the reason you really liked the part you read about Capricorn is that you really don't feel to yourself that you're part of the "standard mold" from which others are cast. You probably saw quite wicked words with Capricorn and Scorpio, and those sound like more fun. Your probably a decent guy, but you probably like better the idea that you're a bit wicked, an acting-out "bad boy."
This comes a lot from that need to be self-sufficient - to have your own autonomy. You're 21, and (with Saturn square its natal place), 21 feels like you're 30 and "all grown up," and you are indeed rounding the last corner of the track heading toward full adulthood... in another 7 or 8 years. But 21 is a big step in the process. You have a Capricorn Sun and a close Moon-Saturn square, so physical and emotional self-sufficiency are important to you. (We could spend a whole long discussion talking about parent issues and how those formative relations have shaped you, but, at the moment, I'm more inclined to keep eyes forward on where you're going.)
Take that autonomy need, and Pluto's not wanting to be packaged in other people's expectations and definitions, and you have is someone who tends to stay to himself quite a lot, is mixed on whether he wants to be left alone or be more connected to people, and has a lot of stuff to figure out.
This makes you not at all the "Midwest conventional" I first described, though you can pass for one. You are perhaps even a bit of a "local character."
One of the strongest places of activity in the chart - a place where you could swing either of a couple of ways (or find your own "third way" down the middle) - is in this issue of connection vs. disconnection. There are a lot on indications of distance, separation, and social disconnect in your chart, including the Capricorn Sun and Mars, Pluto angular, the "cut-off" side of Venus-Saturn, even Moon-Saturn. On the other hand, you have several indications of social ease: a Taurus Moon that needs it, an exact Moon-Venus square that is usually very connected to other people and smooth in interaction, easy-speaking of Mercury-Venus, etc.
Sex is a big deal (but may feel like a "normal deal," just "what's so"). Capricorn Sun is a horny goat, Taurus is all caught up in the intensity of sex and "life force" stuff, Moon-Mars is sexually needy. To this, you bring some magnetism, some soft charm, and some cold distance that mix with each other somehow.
In fact... that "mix somehow" is the key to how your relationships probably are. I don't know your early environment, your high school dating patterns, your sexual interests and preferences - just that you're 21 years old and have these higher-than-usual sexual pressures. But then, there's all the rest of the stuff I've mentioned - the distance or even aloofness, not wanting to get caught up in rules and expectations, etc.
The other side of Venus-Saturn is devotion - strong connection. You'll definitely want to settle down with someone and form a 'Til Death Do Us Part relationship. You have great compassion for duty, service, devotion, and caretaking of others that are important to you.
Go back and read the fine points in the links JSAD gave you, but especially the Capricorn Sun, Taurus Moon, Pluto angular, Venus-Saturn aspect, Moon-Venus and Moon-Saturn aspects... and then the others.
And, by all means, feel free to ask questions and to give feedback. I'm quite curious how your life has flowed out from this chart thus far.

Re: My birthchart. Just learned about sidereal.
I am sociably at ease, with the exception of speaking to a larger audience. I'm trying to train myself to do it anyway, since I know its a valuable skill. But I do prefer a few good friends instead of a lot of them. As for how my life flowed out: I was initially homeschooled until I decided in 8th grade to go to public school, then over time I started going to concerts and practising music with my friends. Music is very important, and entertains me a lot. I have the separate ambition of becoming very knowledgeable, so that I can invent machines someday. Reading books and listening to music is the main occupation here lately. I enjoy philosophy, psychology, history, and occult books. I think I especially relate to what you said about not wanting to be conventional because of the angular Pluto.
