Leo and art

Post by Soft Alpaca »

Just some rambling. I've noticed especially in Lunar Leo's and some solar Leo's (and maybe it's nothing) however some Leo's I'd describe as Lions, exactly like Jim describes but then I've also noticed a more creative and sensitive set of Leo's (I call them cubs) they are radiant but lack self confidence and are unaware of there own potential, power a beauty. Also I've notice a general soul vibe to most Leo's I meet. Has anyone picked up any of these from Leo's they have met?

This very well could be the Leo's I met have more Venus or Lunar energy (this would be coincidental of course).

I know a Leo sun who switched his major from art to teaching. He is artistic. I don’t know his bday. Leo moons I know are sensitive and sensual. I’d guess they are good and more prone at creating practical or three dimensional art like crafts, sculpting, woodwork, making furniture ect as opposed to painting canvas and drawing an such

Thanks for the information James. I can say that as a Leo moon the two traits that you said about the other Leo moons you know I can relate to.

Maybe you're thinking of very early Leos, Jim does describe them as somewhat Cancerian in nature. I'm a Leo and terrible with art, in fact, I think it's quite pretentious......no offense to artists, just a personal opinion.

Performing. I don't think the focus in the sign is on music but, rather, on dramatic, highly stylized performance, which Leo's do even in minor details of their lives.

Performing arts (music/singers) Frank Zappa, Keith Richards, Pete Townsend, Lou Reed, Brian Wilson, Lemmy, Gene Simmons, Eddie Vedder, Biggy Smalls, Sean Combs, Dolly Parton, Madonna, Brandon Boyd, Beck (Leo Moons) have that too. I know a Leo Moon girl from high school who was a ballerina and acted in plays. Black Swan actress Natilie Portman has a Leo Moon. John Travolta.

Yes, good list. It's about performing, not about art. (I had a Leo mother-in-law who made a TV drama out of getting drunk every night and, oh, did she have a show.)

I think that the performance is an art. Maybe for most Leo's its about putting on a show. For me personally my art is very personal and oftentimes unshared with any body.

It would seem some prominent Leos enjoy a darker, graver aesthetic. Tim Burton is my first thought. Chateaubriand and Goethe also come to mind (at least Goethe balances it out with the usual Leo "light").

As I said before, signs are closely linked to their opposites, like they're ends of the same pole. Some Aquarius gravitas could be part of Leo.
