Synastry - he ignites a flame within me :)

Remember that I pointed out the Jupiter partile Rvk DSC when I was there and Jim pointed out the Moon-Sun opposition symbolism back here where he said there could be a significant pair bonding (viewtopic.php?f=21&t=3318&start=50#p25894):
The most interesting feature is that you get a "discovered" natal Sun-Moon opposition within half a degree. (I don't suppose you have any old flames hanging around, do you?)
All close Moon-Sun hard aspects in returns have, as one of their strongest probabilities, "formation of [polarized] relationship" or "receiving very special attention from one or many."
Well, it is not an old flame - but a brand new one. This pair bonding seems to be happening and it all started on the night of August 30th-31st when I was not looking for it at all. It kinda came as a surprise out of the blue - it was a strange and entertaining night and a string of events lead to this.

As I explored our synastry I got more and more interested. It has some very interesting features, especially when looking into solar arcs as well. He is sooooo much opposite to my ex that it is comic ... and he is even interested in astrology! (And he didn't say that to impress me, I had not even mentioned it, he mentioned it first).

I only looked at conjunctions, oppositions, squares and trines... there are also some sextiles and other aspects that I won't mention.

Firstly birth chart, birth location for both:
He has Neptune and Venus closest to MC ecliptically at his birth place and relocated. He is a professional musician. His Sun, Mer, Mars and Jupiter are closest to angle in the mundoscope and Saturn is on his WP. He has a wide Venus-Neptune conjunction, so artistic, romantic and perhaps dreamy - but his Venus is also square his Saturn, so it is also grounded and I guess capable of the commitment of long term bonding.

So what does my chart do to his chart?
Dsc conj ASC almost partile. Often said to be an instant attraction and even to be each other's ideal partner when the other's DSC comes to your own ASC. But probably never enough in and of itself... the charts need more contacts.
My Jupiter partile his Moon-Sun midpoint (with my Venus on the opposite side). *My Jup is also on my own Sun-Moon midpoint. So both our Sun-Moon midpoints are aligned, in the same degree!
My Saturn opp his Venus-Nep.
My Mer-Mars trine his Nep-Venus and square his Uranus.
My Moon trine his Mer.
Moon opp his Uranus-Moon - tight orb with Ur but wider orb with his Moon.
Sun opp his Sun-Mars - wide orb.
My Pluto trine his Sun-Mars and his Pluto on my n. WP.

Relocating both charts to Rvk makes both our angles align almost partile. But this time it is my rel DSC conj his rel MC and his n. Venus. He is always complimenting me in such a admiring and beautiful way. My rel MC conj his rel ASC which also makes my Uranus sq his ASC.

A very interesting scenario is brought about with our solar arcs / directed charts.
Our dir ASC are again opposite each others. Our dir Moons are opposite within 3° but interestingly they are both on our n. ASC/DSC angles, mine is on his DSC and his is on my DSC. Apparently very good for emotional understanding, connection and bonding. There also seems to be a strange telepathic ability between us and our imaginations connect in another dimension :)

And then this in the solar arcs:
My dir Mars is almost exact square his dir. Moon.
My dir Sun is partile trine his dir Venus.
My dir MC is partile his dir Mer.
My dir Nnode is conj his Sun-Mars.
My n. Nnode is conj his dir Venus.
My dir Venus trine his n. Venus.
My dir Jupiter is within 3° from his dir ASC.
My dir ASC and Saturn on his dir IC and close to his his n. Jup and opp his n. Sun-Mars.
My dir Uranus partile his dir Pluto.

When I direct the relocated Rvk charts even more is revealed ... that is when we get a double Mars symbolism. His n. Sun-Mars falls onto my dir DSC, so his n. Jup is opposite on my dir ASC and my n. Mars falls onto his dir DSC and there is a strong strong magnetic and sexual pull in both of us even now when I have gone away and am in a different country.

Well, there is most definitely something strong going on between us - whether it will last or not, time will tell. I really meant to say a final goodbye to him ... and kinda did in a very nice manner with my expression of gratitude which he reciprocated as I left. Just wanted to put it into a nice memory because I was just trying to be sensible and didn't want to start something when I am so newly separated. Well he also separated about 9 months ago and that was actually one part of the reason we bonded initially. That and him playing guitar and me singing :D

As I said, this might be just a short lived romance, I guess there is no way to tell now ... but at least it is full of sparks, it has that rare strong magnetic pull that feels so deep in the core that it's almost impossible to resist it. And then a feeling of being so much more alive when we are with each other and when we chat.

Composite chart shows DSC as midpoint between Venus 9° below and Pluto 9° above and Jupiter is also in 7th. The MC is the midpoint between the composite Sun and Moon. If using WSH Moon is in 11th and 8th house has Ur, Mer, Sun, Mars and Nnode. But if I use Campanus house system it puts all those planets plus Pluto, Jup and Nep into a big 7th house.

:)

I remember well that feeling, after a first encounter and then returning home, that something wasn't finished and might have been just beginning! It's splendid.

Indeed, it is splendid. It is fun, it lifts both our spirits and somehow I know/feel there is going to be some more to this love story - just don't know how long it will last. :)

The worrying part to me is that my n. Saturn is opposite his n. Venus-Neptune conjunction. As you've said for that co-aspect in your synastry part of this forum, it can be that in some way, Saturn inhibits Venus' happiness or pleasure. Sometimes it indicates frustrated love, Saturn being inaccessible despite Venus' strong attraction to him. But perhaps we make up for it with all the other good parts of our synastry and composite. My Saturn to his Venus might also mean that love and pleasure may = commitment, duty and devotion.
Composite chart shows DSC as midpoint between Venus 9° below and Pluto 9° above and Jupiter is also in 7th. The MC is the midpoint between the composite Sun and Moon.
I keep seeing more good surprises to this synastry and composite. So the composite MC is conj my natal Jupiter, with Venus on the IC and Pluto on the DSC so I guess it activates that aspect of my soul and gives me the craving for a deeper connection.

Just want to add to this that the composite also has Venus-Mars=Jupiter which Ebertin describes as a happy and healthy sex-relationship. - A strong physical attraction, a rich soul-life and expression of feeling. I guess I would also add that it adds that generosity from Jupiter into the love and sex life for the two.

About the composite midpoint Venus-Pluto=DSC I can't find much, but might be something like "an unusual love affair" or compelled attraction, craving the love/relationship by inner compulsion and being madly in love. A deep, transforming and intense love connection, some would say to the point of magnificent obsession. But then again there is always that separative side to Pluto = it either separates or transforms.

About the Sun-Moon=Jupiter midpoint Ebertin says:
Sound mental and emotional disposition, desire for joint endeavour, for expansion and possessions. -Happy relationship, joint success, marriage, shared happiness, birth.
Sun-Moon=MC:
A harmonious soul life, individual attitude to friendship and marriage. - The consummation of marriage.
Well, it seems that it is inevitable to feel some kind of a connection/attraction with all this going on with our planets, angles and midpoint structure. If it will be short lived, I'll just enjoy it while it lasts :)

Just a guess, but I suspect this combo would have something to do with him being a musician, and musicians as a general rule do not like to be inhibited with their movements being a musician involving a long term relationship. But I think this could be worked out with clear understandings with discussions between the two of you if there were to be some kind of commitment to a long term relationship. Stop worrying so much about all the astrology you are analyzing, and just enjoy the fun you are having with him now. Try to live in the moments of enjoying his company. Laugh & have fun. :)

Oh, you can be sure I'm truly enjoying this fun and flame and embracing the beauty in the moments and flying with the butterflies within me :)

So I should maybe not have used the word "worry" ... since it is not a real worry - but rather an observation I made while looking at this.

:) Indeed! Correct me if I am wrong, but I remember your current SSR setting-up in Edinburgh. Correct?

Yes, it was set up in Edinburgh with t. Jupiter on the SSR DSC as the only angular planet and then my natal Venus-Jupiter on the SSR ASC/DSC :)

Let's just add that part of my joy in this is to see the astrological symbolism between our charts :)

Wonderful Arena, what great symbolism you have there. How nice.
May the flame stay with you forever.

Beautiful! If memory is serving me--it seems I remember seeing a Venus-Jupiter cnj transits your SSR DSC in the last week of Nov. :)

Yes that's right Steve, it is indeed. And also around the 24th-25th of this month, October, the t. Venus will transit the SSR WP, oppose my n. Moon and square the SSR Mars....and I will possibly be there to meet him.

This is such a strange feeling ... the flame is not only ignited within me - I think I actually lit it within him first and it is burning strong. There is such a strong feeling of longing and deep connection, physically, mentally and spiritually. Anyway, not to reveal too much... but still to give an idea about the chemistry and strong strong pull. Even when we are in different countries just talking to each other there are strong words being used and we also sometimes use music or I use musical lyrics to say what we're thinking.

We pretend we have a portal we can travel through and meet each other in another dimension (dw Uranus futuristic thing). And we both strongly feel it, we are able to feel each other somehow (Moon-Moon). We feel each other both on an emotional and physical level (Mars-Mars, Sun-Mars, Moon-Mars) and we feel it strongly.

The words he uses:
"I love how you make me feel (Venus and Moon). You are the most wonderful being in the whole world" ...you know what, I think you are amazing"- "you shine bright like the Sun" (the Sun?) ..."you are always surprising me" (Uranus) "it is so good to talk to you" & "I'm so grateful for your mind" (Mercury) ...somehow I trust you completely (planet? - Pluto or Moon or perhaps the Suns and Moons in opposition) ... "I let myself dream about you all day long, there are so many things that fascinate me about you" ...(His Neptune-Venus?) "You have completely taken my mind hostage in the best possible way" (My Pluto? or a combination of planets perhaps?).

Oh my, oh my - this is such a strong and good feeling ;) :D

Just making a note of t. Jupiter now transiting my n. Jupiter which is on mine and his Sun/Moon midpoint and is also the degree of our composite MC in Rvk.

I believe there are a few different astrological factors conspiring to this love story ... which I hope lasts :)

What a roller coaster life can be! Going from my nightmare painful separation last year into the arms and life of this wonderful love. Even though it sometimes feels so good that it's like a dream, it is now very sure that this is going to be a long lasting flame and the relationship is so good and nurturing for our souls. Loving, creative and joyful as well as deep connection with sensual and great sexual pleasures never experienced before! It's been like a very very long WOW moment in my life and I'm giving it my all, diving into the deep with authentic and open expression of love.

What a powerful synastry we have, and how surprisingly it always hits our angles as they move by relocation, progressions and solar arcs. It is amazing to see this planetary play in action :) What a great synastry to have when the luminaries and the benefics are all involved in such a good and strong way!

When I direct my chart to his birthday (23rd January 1979 at 10.22am) and use our birthplaces my d. Jupiter is partile his n. ASC and my d.Venus is within 2°from his DSC and my d. Moon is partile opposite his n. Moon. And as I said before his n. Venus is conjunct my rel. DSC in Rvk where we live, his Sun-Mars conjunct my pr. DSC within 3° and his n. Jup conj my pr. ASC within 5°.

Just looked at our personal progressions to see if the Moon and Sun are doing something.
My pr. Moon was partile conj his Sun-Mars when we met. It has just left a partile opposition to my pr. Venus.
Pr. Venus is still very close to n. Sun and my pr. Sun is now partile square n. Venus.
His pr. Moon is now partile opp his n. Venus and partile conj his rel IC - the Moon is also just coming out of a partile sq to his pr. Sun. His pr. MC&Venus are partile conj his n. Sun-Mars and therefore conj my pr. DSC and his pr. Jup is almost exact on my pr ASC! His pr. Sun is 1,24° sq his n. Venus - so we both have similar themes as we meet and are together now.

There are simply sooooo many contacts with our angles, luminaries and Venus & Jupiter, repeatedly however we progress, direct, relocate our charts - that I really have to say that we could not do anything other than love each other deeply and have a profound lasting connection. There is so much love, admiration, generosity and feelgood between us. How I praise my spontaneous playful courage to ask him if I could kiss him that night on August 31st last year - but not having a clue that it would be such a profound relationship. That's how and when it all started :D

I've been so amazingly lucky this year encountering this new love, I will be forever grateful for the experience.
