(Western suburb of Sydney. I've ridden a train through there, coming down from the Blue Mountains into Sydney.)
Train derailed, "running into the supports of a road bridge that collapsed onto two of the train's passenger carriages," Australia's worst (deadliest) rail disaster. 84 died, at least 213 were injured. -- This is primarily a train derailment, the train then colliding with and damaging bridge supports, causing the bridge (with cars on it) to collapse within seconds, falling on the halted train beneath it. - I'm not sure this is a structural collapse event, but it is surely a transportation event and might be a structural failure. (The problem seems to have been more with the tracks than the bridge, though some details of the bridge construction were a factor in the deadliness of its collapse.)
