Unknown Symbol
Unknown Symbol
Was going over all the symbols on a chart this morning and found one I cannot find anywhere....It's shaped like a "U" with two circles at the top...Looks like an upside down horseshoe and some one has welded two eyelets on it..

Re: Unknown Symbol
What chart was it on? Most of us don't bother putting the nodes on our charts; and those that do, usually only put the north node (the other one). So, to answer your question I probably need to know what chart it's on.Phillip Redfern wrote: Tue Jun 15, 2021 11:40 am Yep..South Node...Thanks...Now what's it there for?

Re: Unknown Symbol
Ah, not on this site - on another site. I can't speak for why that author included it, or what he or she means by it. Astrologers' use of Moon's nodes ranges across wide acreage, with the German schools going one direction, the Hindu schools another, and Western tropicalists in three or four other directions. Most astrologers who put both nodes on the chart draw some interpretive contrast between them. Some people put them on charts just because it's the default of the software they are using.Phillip Redfern wrote: Tue Jun 15, 2021 12:17 pm Below...About 1/2 way down the page maybe more...Chart for Canberra Australia...Has a North Node in house 8 and a South Node in House 2....I did not see that North Node this morning.

I don't have time to read the article, but perhaps it uses it interpretively?
