What chart was it on? Most of us don't bother putting the nodes on our charts; and those that do, usually only put the north node (the other one). Ah, not on this site - on another site. I can't speak for why that author included it, or what he or she means by it. Astrologers' use of Moon's nodes ranges across wide acreage, with the German schools going one direction, the Hindu schools another, and Western tropicalists in three or four other directions. Most astrologers who put both nodes on the chart draw some interpretive contrast between them.
