Astro 0.1 is the first release of my crude yet sophisticated Sidereal Astrology program. Not too visually impressive, it prints square chart "wheel" and uses two letter abbreviations instead of glyphs. But just check out all the information in a single text file:
Astro is a love gift to the solunars community. Released under the AGPL open source license with source code included. Programmed in Python (version 3.9), but doesn't need Python installed to run. Just download the file below, double-click, follow the very simple prompts, and start casting charts.

- Ecliptic and Mundane positions in the same wheel - no need for a separate mundoscope.
- Detailed planetary data: latitude, speed, RA, declination, azimuth, altitude, and prime vertical position.
- Foreground/Background indication with strength indication.
- Aspects organized by class 1, 2, and 3 per Jim Eshelman.
- Aspect orb to one minute accuracy, with % strength indication.
- Mundane aspects
- Manages a chart collection.
- Easy to correct data, recalculates almost instantly.
- Calculations performed by the Swiss Ephemeris, which powers astro.com, Solar Fire, and Janus.
