TMSA Version 1.x development map

Post by mikestar13 »

After discussion with Jim, I have decided that version 0.5.0 will become version 1.0 when any bugs are patched. For then on until version 2.0 no features will be removed from TMSA (though some might become optional, and many will be added). Projected versions:

1.0 Improved appearance, anlunars
1.1 noviens and enneads, csv export
1.2 transits
1.3 progressions and directions, KSR, KLR
1.4 synastry (may be split into multiple releases)
1.5 basic interpretation (will have multiple releases)

Nice roadmap :)

I've forgotten where user selectable dignities comes in - is that 0.5 or later? (I'm only asking because the real question is when mutual receptions will show.)

IIRC you're already building the faster search function for the much-remodeled 0.5.

There are a few other things in the Wish List thread but hardly a rush. When pseudo-astromapping is possible I think this could be quite useful for people with regard to AstroTourism (btw, this is written notice that Marion and I may trademark the term AstroTourism).

Editable dignities will be in the next realese. Will work on it later today or tomorrow when I finish anlunars.

I haven't decided precisely what version, but I will be adding ephemeris generation capabilities and an astromapping assistant, which will include minor angles.
