Monterey Park dance studio shooting [Mass Murder]

Ten people are dead and 10 wounded (hospitalized) from a mass shooting at a ballroom dance studio in Monterey Park on the immediate outskirts of Los Angeles. (The time is from LA County Sheriff's Department via LA Times.) - To my surprise, this is being labelled the deadliest mass shooting in LA County history.

Possibly this is linked to an incident at another dance studio in nearby Alhambra 17 minutes later. In that case, though, people wrestled a gun away from the male Asian would-be assailant and chased him off

Monterey Park is LA's real "Chinatown" - not the area near downtown called Chinatown. It is the densest concentration of Asians (especially Chinese). This attack appears to have been on a Chinese New Year celebration (but not the city's official celebration, which ended an hour or so earlier).

The shooter is still at large. An exact Venus-Saturn conjunction occurred last night, which ended up being the final timing. The CapQ would have been extremely bad, except that (arising out of the Bridge) the Cansolar had the clear lead on the event and nailed it with great precision.

UPDATE: Death tolll is now 11, not counting the peep who killed himself during a police standoff.
