The most impactful SSR in my entire life, my 1976 SSR.

There has been recent discussion about the Moon’s Nodes on the forum lately. Since I was born with a prominent Node in my Natal, I want to discuss, still, the most unbelievable SSR in my entire life involving my Natal Node, it was surreal to my life in 1976-1977 as to how my 1976 SSR magically “connected” me with certain people who were definitely not part of my ever day normal living. It felt like my life was being taken over by some unseen forces, and several years later I discovered the unseen force was my 1976 SSR involving my Natal Node.

But probably more important to my life than the people who came into my life in 1976-1977, it was my 1976 SSR which absolutely proved to me the tremendous value for SSRs, when in 1988 I discovered and read/studied my very first Sidereal Astrology book, “Interpreting Solar Returns” by James A. Eshelman (Jim). After studying Jim’s Solar Return book, the very first Solar Return I looked at for my life was my 1976 SSR. This 1976 SSR so stunned my senses after studying Jim’s book, it hooked me into a study of Sidereal Astrology for the rest of my life which continues today :) . More later.

Here is my 1976 SSR (inside wheel) Bi-wheel with my Natal (outside wheel) showing only the angular effects of SSR Jupiter-Natal Jupiter and my Natal Node.:

I label this Sidereal Solar Return (SSR) as the Zeus effect for my life because of the double whammy of angular Jupiter. SSR Jupiter stationed partile conjunct Natal East Point partile 90 Natal MC & Regulus (I think) since Regulus is on ecliptic. My Natal Node partile conjunct SSR ASC with Natal Jupiter 1,20 conjunct SSR DSC. Transiting Jupiter in Nov 1976 partile conjunct my Natal Node partile conjunct my SSR ASC. My solar year 1976-1977 was the most profound solar year in my entire life because I was put into contact (Node) with several people who completely changed my worldview in fortunate (Jupiter) ways.

When I first got into astrology in 1976-1977 it took me 12 years to finally find a branch of astrology which explained to me WHY the TIMING for 1976 with coming into contact (Node) with so many fortunate (Jupiter) people who were not a part of my immediate environment. In 1988 I discovered Jim’s book “Interpreting Solar Returns”, the first Sidereal Astrology book I studied, and my first SSR I analyzed with Jim’s teaching principles from his book was my 1976 SSR because 1976-1977 solar year impacted my life in many different profound ways. It was my 1976 SSR which proved to me that Sidereal Astrology had many truths to offer me as a serious student of astrology, and I have now been studying Sidereal Astrology for 35 years.

More thoughts: Every astrologer starts their study in their own individual way. I started in 1976- 1977 with Robert Hand teaching me the Ebertin System of Cosmobiology, a tropical form of astrology but different than mainstream tropical astrology. Robert taught me my main Natal signature was Jupiter-Node-Asc, with the Node being one of the 6 personal points in Cosmobiology. But, it took me till 1988 before I could start computing massive amounts of charts with my first astrological computer program NOVA, a DOS based program, I am not a mathematician. And it just so happened in 1988 was when I discovered my first Sidereal Astrology book---Jim’s “Interpreting Solar Returns.” Putting the teaching principles of this book together with NOVA allowing me to compute my 1976 Sidereal Solar Return (SSR), allowed me for the first time in my life to experience my single most important revelation in my astrological life. It (my 1976 SSR) allowed me to finally see/understand WHY/HOW my Natal signature of Jup-Node-Asc manifested big time in my life 1976-1977 by connecting me up with very important people whose teachings greatly became a tremendous aid for my life :) .

Since this SSR (1976) reflected stunning Jupiter symbolism for what happened in my life in a material manner, I wanted to take a look at the potential parans for this 1976 SSR, here they are:

I had Regulus MC Ceres MC 1,01; and Regulus IC Ceres IC 1,01. Why Ceres? Because in Greek/Roman Mythology Ceres has something big time to do with agriculture (grains), and I was put into close contact with the floor trader of Reffco Brokerage Company who was recognized among all floor traders from all major Brokerage Company’s as the KING (Regulus) of floor traders (Henry) for soybeans (Ceres). To make a long story short. I borrowed 2K and by patiently listening to Henry’s only two one minute recommendations over a squawk box in Boaz Alabama, covering a 4 month period, Henry turned my 2K into 88K, more than 3 times my annual salary. This 1976 SSR was the most surreal SSR I have ever experience in my entire life! I want to eventually check and see how many SSRs in my adult life I have had a Regulus-Ceres potential paran.
Other notable potential parans for this 1976 SSR:
Sun MC Sirius Set 1,46 (for sure, this lit my life afire, the broker in Boaz was more stunned than me)
Mercury MC Sirius Set 0,35 (my mind/thoughts were stunned)
Regulus Set Neptune MC 0,04 (For sure a Kingly (Regulus speculation (Neptune) and a dream (Neptune) come true in a material way.
Mars IC Pluto IC 0,04 (Ebertin COSI—Superhuman power, great ambition)
Uranus Set Pluto Set 0,01 (Ebertin—The process of transformation. Attainment of great objectives)
The female figure standing 45 stories above LaSalle Street is an iconic image for most Chicagoans. It depicts Ceres, the Roman goddess of agriculture, in honor of the commodities exchanged in the Chicago Board of Trade building below.

CBT is recognized by the World as where all major grains (Ceres) are traded.
I love studying my Natal Chart/SSRs with the methods of Sidereal Astrology! :) But understand, Western Sidereal Astrology does not use other bodies in the heavens in their methodology, as far as I know, maybe Ken Bowser. But Fagan recognized several important Stars recognized by the Ancient Egyptians & Babylonians as important.
