Birth time rectification with unknown TOB

Hello,

I recently found out someone I was close to in the mid 90’s passed away at age 39 in 2016. I was extremely shocked and saddened. His obituary doesn’t say the cause of death and I don’t know his birth time but I do know his birth date, birth place and the date and place of death. I also found some legal events that took place in the late 90’s - early 2000’s as well as a couple of months before his passing while trying to search for the cause of death. I’m wondering if there is a way to correct the birth time or figure out what the birth time is with the info I have. Even though we lost contact after he moved from my area, I always had the intention of trying to reconnect with him. I tried once before, way back in 2008-2009, to search for a social media profile with no luck so I gave up at the time. It seems he didn’t really keep in contact with anyone since mutual acquaintances have asked me about him here and there throughout the yrs and I noticed other people commenting in the online guestbook of his obituary had fallen out of touch and were hoping to reconnect as well. When he moved out of my area, I wasn’t even able to say goodbye and now I’m finding out he passed away almost a decade ago, he’s like a big question mark in my mind. I created a chart with the dob and place, I’m not sure if it’s ok to post here so I’ll wait to do that for now. Given the fact I have the limited info I stated above, would it be possible to figure out the birth time ?

I'm sorry for your loss. It sounds like he meant a lot to you (at least, at one time).

Yes, there is at least a chance we can do this EXCEPT we seem to have no way of confirming whether we are right. So the endeavor would be informed guessing... creating a path to go down that might or might not be useful to you.

If you want to give his date of birth and place - and some very significant event (perhaps we can start with the date and place of his death) - I'll dig around at least a little and see what's evident.

He was a sweet person, happy and well liked during the time I knew him. It’s just a huge shock. I’ve known a few other people whose lives were cut short at younger ages sadly but I, at least, knew what the circumstances around their deaths were.

DOB is 7/23/1976 in Hartford Ct, he passed on 3/1/2016 in Ft Lauderdale, Fl.

I know this is more of a guess,that’s fine. Maybe I’ll be able to confirm eventually.
