BTW, Bradley has a young man had a cottage industry of generating written horoscope interpretations. He had one page on each chart factor (sign placement, aspect, etc.) that he wanted to consider - mimeographed these in large quantities - he'd calculate the chart, pull the sheets, staple them ...

I just went through The Primer and Fagan doesn't say anything about using the SVP of Date that I can find. He's not specific about using the SVP of progressed date but I think if he was using the SVP of date instead, he'd have said as much.

My biggest disappointment about SF is how it handles progressions.

What it does: It applies the ayanamsa of the progressed date to the (Tropical) cusps and angles.

What Fagan taught: Apply the SVP of date to the cusps and angles.

This was in all the early works, as well as his worked-out examples ...

Mike, a niche Sidereal astrology program has been sorely needed. Riyal was an early attempt, and while creditable it doesn't seem to be keeping current, and the GUI is outdated. Anytime you need tips or a resource, please don't hesitate to ask.

I think I can say correctly that Ken Bowser and Colleen have the rights to the Solunars articles only.

For other articles, you may have to contact Ken Irving who still edits the legacy magazine of American Astrology.

At one point, Fagan speculated that the solar and lunar rulership cycles (emanating two directions outward from Cancer-Leo) gave separate rulership schemes for Sun and Moon in the signs.

That's the equivalent of saying we're in the age of Sagittarius because New Years Day on our civil calendars occurs when the Sun is in Sagittarius. It's a calendar date, and calendars can be changed to make any day New Years Day.
